Deer are going to go if you dont take out the shoulder or spine. A vitals shot, heart lungs, they dont go 30 40 yrds, maybe farther if they are geeked up. People who have never hunted deer dont understand how tough they can be. I dont care if your using a .243 or a .50 BMG sniper rifle, they are going to run no matter what. Funny how people see a deer moving after a shot and instantly proclaim bad shot? Screw all these numnuts a real hunter knows how it goes!!

Second of all, thats sad that you didnt drop her when she was standing there not moving an inch. You might as well catch it and tie it to a tree before you shoot it next time, maybe you wont miss by so much.
