I still don't know a lot of singapore or its governance model. But one thing I can say is, that Loong is a very concise leader with a good sense of business. If though, people don't want to go on in this direction it is their decision. Similarly changes in political systems or rules of personal freedom happened and are happening in other highly developed countries all over.

Just make sure to learn from history as much as possible when drawing your judgment pro or against leaders.
