  • Hubert Sumlin has influenced more people than you can imagine, including one or two of the really great guitar players of the last thirty years, may he rest in peace and look down on us and bend a note or two

  • I'm pretty broken up about it myself. He was a person with such generosity of spirit.I just love all the Howlin Wolf songs he played on. He had a wonderful solo career after Wolf died too. I went to see him play many times.

  • If you dig blues, support the LEGENDS.. they wont stay forever.. Go to a fest.. Check them out right here.. they sound even better when perfoming live for their peeps/ You just dont know how short their time is.. Yes younger bluesmen come and stay for only a short while too.. Just try to keep them loved, you wont regret a minute.. No bad people in a blues crowd.. its just not hapnin. drunks are carefully helped find a chair.. and its like THAT! Rock on blues.. safe journey Hubert.

  • Maybe Darrell Nullish?

  • @Lukeblueslover Yes, that's Darrell.

  • @Lukeblueslover Oh, yeah...and that's my drummer and good friend Per Hanson on the skins at the back of the bus there. He's pretty broken up about Hubert's passing. :- (

  • Hey, who's the singer? Isn't he the one who played with Ronnie Earl? There's a video here on youtube, they play T-Bone Boogie

  • He should be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!!!! & Howlin' Wolf wrote Killing Floor - not Skip James.

  • I LIKE HUBERT SUMLIN I GOT HIS VIDEOS TOO.
