A lot of people say the bright yellow light of a Low pressure sodium lamp is inconvenient.
Now, since a month I bought myself a LPS lamp (66 Watt) and bolted it down to the ceiling of my 12 square metre room in the flat. I'm very happy with the yellow, calm (because colorless) light. And the warming up is indeed something we like pretty much to see.
I don't find it strange to install a LPS in a living room. I am using hidden lps light sources in my room. I have 2 lps lamps of 18 w installed and lit every night in my room. Thnx for your comment.
I Have just been trough my collection and found 2 GEC 3NL-S230X Fluorescent Streetlight Fittings with 1969 as a date stamped into them, they appear to go. I collect various Fluro Fittings.
