Honestly I'm a wimp so when I go to Korea (hopefully after college so a few years) i'll have to find someone decent in Korean to talk to people and explain this to me, although it looks amazing.
U don't need to know hangul to know why kahi is called gahee.. just like Kimichi is pronounced Gimchee.. Ks are usually pronounced as Gs... I don't know hangul.. that's like basic korean knowledge XD
@NanxCakes well then how do they say it? with a K.. NOOO.. By Gimchee you can easily substitute it with Gimchi.. they pronounce the i as an e, correct?.. if you were to romanize the word kimchi in korean that's how it's spelled.. I didn't make this word lol
@lolblueisme They say "kimchi" and the pretty little jars with fermented kimchi at the Korean market says "김치 Kimchi" as well.. Romanization is not really the best way to define how a word is pronounced. Just like "최" is romanized "choi" but pronounced NOTHING like it.
@lolblueisme It's the opposite. A Gieuk (The first hangul of Kimchi) is pronounced like a K at the beginning of a word or between vowels. A Kieuk (Which is like gieuk) makes the K sound regardless of position. A SsangGieuk is a double Gieuk and it's pronounced as G in the other positions where Gieuk sounds like K. But these are just generalizations. There are exceptions, and other Blah. But KimChi is best written as Kimchi to pronounce even if properly romanised as gimchi/ee
Woaahh I'm really hungry right now, and let me tell you, this doesn't help xD But I don't know if it's a false impression but I feel like there's always soooo much to eat when you film in restaurants, and I would really want to try korean food, but i'm afraid it'll be too much for me, since I really don't eat a lot
@LeoJelloAndAnaHearts Or gogi, or goki or whatever way you want to spell it. It's like how Kahi from After School sometimes is known as Gahee for example. Um learn hangul kids you'll get it
Korean food looks so yumi, I want to go to Korea and pig out on the food, that would be the only reason besides circle lenses for me to visit Korea XD
@kayu38 there actually called sesame leaves you put the meat in there and put some chilli paste and add some other sruff and eat it, it taste sorta minty, i take it you dont like to eat healthy?
Seng Gogi means raw meat. But it also means a fresh meat that was never frozen and thawed. Seng gogi is considered fresher and tastier. Although, I think aged meat in the West is also nice. The Korean beef is very tender to begin with so I guess they prefer Seng instead of frozen or aged.
those leaves are perilla leaves..lol

I just know that kogi means meat o.o
Which I remember because kogi is like kjøtt in my language, and in Swedsh it's like kött or something, and I think that looks kind of like kogi.
