As an American living in Calcutta, I'd only heard this sung by children at 15 Aug functions; which wasn't too impressive. But when I heard this at Fame Cinema I was transfixed and mesmerized; I couldn't even move. I never thought that hearing another country's national anthem could be a spiritual experience, but this was. The genius of these musicians/singers combined with the genius of Tagore has created something amazing. It's worth going to the theatre just to hear it!
