acually its called a sway bar and on those trucks they dont break they are not made out of grade spring steel the truck is to heavy at 12,000 pounds. the truck leans when they twist the sway bar or bend it from a hard landing. thare are adjusters on either side of it just a few turns and its back to normal. the conventional mosnterstruks that use coil over shocks dont even have sway bars. like tom meents truck max-d altho i think coil overs with rear bar would be perfect.

blown piston ?? I would have to assume that he broke a rod or a crankshaft judging by how much oil shot out of the gigantic HOLE in the block. These things run on methanol, the only way you're getting that kind of orange flame is from oil. A piston just can't do that kind of damage. When 1700hp lets go, things break !! BIG TIME !! and he was turning the shit out of this thing !!

the explosion? im thinking a few things might have caused it. reason one, the engine had to much compression, and blew the block and ignited the high octane race fuel. these engines have upwards of 1200HP. reason 2, the engine got so hot, it melted the fuel lines and ignited the fuel. reason 3, there was something wrong with the intake, like there was excess fuel in it, and it went to hell from there

Its "lopsided" becauseswaybars somethimes get twisted when the truck lands really hard. So to fix it. They have to manually twist the sway bar back into place. After the've done that, the truck looks fine.

looks like a busted oil line, see how quickly it went out, the oil exploded onto the hot engine etc and the heat caught the oil on fire but then the fire burned itself out due to nothing else to burn.

Gary Porter is no where near a "wannabe" Thats Grave Digger #12 and it is an actual Grave Digger. Gary is more controled than most Digger drivers. Although if you want desctuction. Look out for Rod Schmidt. . .
