You're right, we all have our own taste in music. It's subjective that way. Saying that, I used to hate Pearl Jam because of one song I found unbearably annoying. They're one of my favourite bands now. I've learned to not dismiss everything as hype.

Also, you can play and write awesome music regardless of whether you went to Harvard or not.
