theres badasses in every service. force recon in marines, special forces in army, seals in navy, combat controllers in airfore. this whole idea that marines are "tougher" than army isnt necessarily true, but marine corps standards are definitely higher. boot camps longer, the pft is harder, and the DI's are a lot meaner

The only time the Marines have even surrendered was under an Army General. That Marine unit's colors now cannot be flown on American soil. Maybe you need to recheck your fact on The Pacific theatre in WWII becuase last time I checked, the Marine Corps island hopping was instrumental in the defeat of the Japanese.
