There were several trying to form right in our area. I looked up some footage from parts of the country that get them frequently and it was exactly the same type of swirling that was going on above Rt. 12. That could have been bad.

Where in south oxford was this? I live near Mayfair and above Uncle Bob's was a giant swirling cloud mass. It didn't produce a funnel, but holy crap it was close.

@mnichols2011 I live off of Walnut Street in Oxford, 2 minute drive from Chaffee Elementary. about 250 Main street Oxford, Ma. It landed in the South Oxford, Webster Line. Exit 3 Near the Kmart Plaza on 70 Worcester RD Webster, MA.. Crazy weather yesterday.. glad to see that we are safe.. within 5 seconds, wind gusts picked up from about 10 mph to 40+ in a instant. @iwillmotforget... were you standing outside all day like i was.. and wasnt in your house looking out the window?? doesnt meen a tornado touched down at chaffee.. it was traveling in that direction.. and i said it touched down near exit 3, far away from chaffee.
