@Klinkerklunk or honey pie, revolution 9, why don't we do it in the road, bungalow bill. Check out the bootlegs, Harrison was way superior to Paul and John. But you know all is Yoko's fault ;)
@aebelmonter I agree Not Guilty is as good or better than those songs, but I was referring to the choice of Harrison's four songs on the album.Somehow Piggies was chosen over Not Guilty.Sour Milk Sea is another Harrison gem that was never fleshed out and properly recorded by the group but does have a similar sound to Old Brown Shoe. All Things Must Pass is also another head scratcher from Let It Be sessions. With Something, perhaps Harrison would have played a stronger role if they never disbanded.
@aebelmonter Well. No, they are all great songs, except #9 of course. If this was going to be on the White album they should of replaced this with Savory Truffle, not Piggies. Piggies kicks ass. And it took them over 100 times to get this down and it turned out to be unreleased! What a shame
Although they never met or knew each other,George Harrison shared two common bonds with football legend O.J. Simpson. NOT GUILTY was what O.J. was found with Nicole and Ron in the ground. Also,I WANT TO TELL YOU was Simpson's autobiography("I did not murder my ex-wife!"). lol
@TEETHHTEET The picture reads alternate versions I looked it up and and there are bootlegs like this... but yeah a shorter version is also on the anthology.
The BBCs Radio 2s Sounds Of The 60s Beatles A to Z song for week startg SAT28AUG10 The final instalment of the series that started with John's A Day In The Life. The history Not Guilty can be heard for 1 week after Aug28 by going to the prog site. Sorry only a few hours left. Recorded over 3 days in 1968 "it wasn't issued at the time so 11 years later George recorded another version releasing it on his solo album" The Beatles version was on Anthol3 in 1996. Both versions are played on the program
WOW!!!! Just when you hear a rare track like this on the Anthology series... here's another version that's even more mind blowing. Incredible. Just incredible. If Paul and Ringo were smart enough... they would release the same albums they had made but with these alternate versions. And for the songs that never got released... ttile it "Past Masters Vol.3". Just a crazy idea... but I bet there'd be people who would buy them just hear how the songs evolved before their final release.
@reg5381 Yeah, they should get their share of the profits from it as well. But I doubt if Lennon's would go to Julian. It would probably be given to Yoko - for she always handled Lennon's financial affairs while he was alive and after his death.
Should have added another record and made white album a three parter.

@MadflowsA This should have replaced Why Dont We Do It In The Road. Savoy Truffle is one of the essential white album tracks

@BL80488 Oh nooo way. Why don't we do it in the road is a great song. I am not saying Savory Truffle is a bad song but this is way better
