I went to my local Walgreens today and to my surprised i saw that they had Frankenberry cereal in stock for $3 dollars a box...and it's August.

I loved frankenberry. There were me and my two brothers (so three kids) and we each had "our" cereal. My youngest brother's was Booberry, my middle younger brother had Count Chocula, and I had Frankenberry. :D

On wikipedia on the health concerns section is says it was very popular when it first came out supposedly because the intial batches of the cereal used a dye that caused many children's poop to be bright pink, that's frigin cool.

My mom just brought me up some Frankenberry and Boo Berry cereal from the States... it's delicious. I'd never even heard of it before, only Count Chocula (we actually have it in Canada) which tastes horrible imo. I wish these two cereals were easier to get!

you can buy them on Amazon but you have to buy them in bulk. To me, it's totally worth it. To me, Franken Berry and Boo Berry are the best cereals ever.

Frankenberry still exists in somewhat large supply, Boo Berry is very rare and I think Yummy Mummy got the boot soon after it came out. Chocula of course is still the easiest to get, and yet despite being unhealthy, DAMN does it taste good.

I remember eating this when I was a kid, of course this was when the red dye in it, made your shit turn the color red. Alot of parents thought their kids were sick. The company General Mills changed the color of the dye.
