So many people in this fucking country that you're just speaking about the mainstream stuff=high school musical, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, etc.Besides stop bragging about the few bands you got 'cause the US's its stuff too,especially the north metropolitan area(New York,Boston,Washington,through Maine).Metal goes by area in here,and true,there's less support.Power metal's always underground in any country,including yours cause you don't hear power metal on the radio often,do you? Where do you get off on making the assumption that I claimed only vocals determine skill?

Dragonforce have been known to modify just about all aspects of their music, including the instrumentation. They're good composers, I give them credit for that, but alot of it is music they can't even play themselves and used the aid of studio magic to actually get it on tape and pass it off as their 'skill'

and don't even get me started on the over-the-top effects-smothered guitar solos :S

I guess it's a personal choice. They were like my intro into power metal and I started to like them less and less. They have a few really good songs, but in my opinion, there are many power metal bands out there that are better.

From Brazilian bands I only listen to Angra and Shaaman, but this sounds also great. I think that Brazilian singers have quite similar voices or styles of singing. Many of these remind me of Edu Falaschi

Definetely not.. because Trivium songs are sung screaming with the throat. So it's not powermetal. It's melodic death metal. By the way, power metal uses keyboard arrangements, trivium doesn't.

sry to say but ur both wrong, trivium is metalcore and not even close to melo death opr power metal, AND only the european power metal scene, (as in Blind Guardian, Gamma Ray and Edguy) use keyboard arrangements and focus more on their speed metal roots and melodic instrumentation whereas the North American power metal scene,(as in Manowar, Jag Panzer and Crimson Glory) usually dont use keyboards and focus more on their thrash roots then their speed metal roots
