no i meant a low frequency oscillator, i know how to make pitch bends, but i want an oscillator that will raise and lower the pitch quickly to make it sound robotic
check out my aleatron videos. the red one has some nice lfo sounds. that one was from one side of a resistor to a little brown capacitor. didn't know what i was doing at the time but soooo fun in those low notes that go back to sounding high like a spaceship!
0:27 to 0:34 WHAT EPISODE HAS THE MUSIC FROM CHIP AND DALE RESCUE RANGERS?

how do i build an lfo?

Probe around on some toy keyboards until you find a resistor that lowers the pitch, add a potentiometer(250-500k) and have fun!

i can send you a schematic if you'd like. just give me your email. i usually use 555 timer ic, but there are other ways.

WICKED!!! GREAT JOB!Did you add an extra board in this or just extra resistors/capacitors with all your pots/switches?
Pesterons 3 years ago
probably just switches and a pot and maybe a resistor for the light
