  • How can I transfer songs from pc to nintendo 3ds?

  • @NgJackal1990 you can use the sd card the 3ds comes with, then insert in the pc, move all of your music on the sd card, then insert it into the 3ds. make sure the music files are all mp3, or aac format.

  • @superluigisteven Where do u find the music? o;

  • @MsKittyxLove well just find a song that best suites you, then find an mp3 format of it, and follow all the steps in my last comment.

  • @jmgaears it does if you plug earphones in

  • Does it play music when closed?

  • @jmgears No, sorry. It's not an ideal MP3 player, but still, really good system.

  • @dudesonicah22 YES!

  • @tito619ramirez YES! Don't listen to dudesonicah22, he doesn't know nothing! I have a 3DS and if you plug your earphones in and close it the sound will still come out!

  • @Roy0fSpades yes

  • in the plane thing, you can shoot the block things with L&R! And control the ship with the circle pad! It's my favourite, if you couldn't tell

  • 0:30 be caeful dude! the touch screen is lower

  • @biscocho21 In a new folder. I get my music from khinsider. net. When it says download from computer, right click that and then choos the save target as option, click the new folder in your sd card and save it. You should then have music. Same thing applies to other variations of music, mp3 works best, but that websute I mentioned is vgms only so you might need to do some looking to find websites with music by your fave bands. Hope this helps, everyone here.

  • does anyone know if you can somehow listen to music on the 3ds whilst playing a game

  • @derrett123 As far as I know it is not possible (not at the moment...)

  • your vids would be way better if it was in english

  • your vids would be WAY better if it was in english

  • The music player on this thing is really awesome, but if it weren't for your awesome videos and demonstrations David i might have not ever got this thing. Thanks man :D!

  • HEY THAT WAS NIGHT WALK FROM RHYTHM TENGOKU! (GUY ON STAIRS MAKING FLOWERS APPEAR)

  • In the sound menu how do you have things under the record and edit sounds? because my 3ds only has that.

  • where do you put the music in the sd card? in root?...make a new folder for music?....where? D:

  • How do you download music on the 3ds?

  • @Skylightdual Put it on SD card

  • It looks kinda like the DSi Sound, is the 3DS one any different other than being able to read MP3

  • That song is by driftless pony club/wheezywaiter o_O isn't it? I'm so confused.

  • @Nintendo3DS Can you make a guide that shows how to convert mp3 to the files that the 3DS can read? I'd really appreciate it.

  • 1:06 Rhythm Tengoku! :D

  • 1:05 That's from the original Japan-only GBA version of Rhythm Heaven!

  • No more Mario jumping for coins? :(

  • @Nintendo3DS how do i get music on to my 3ds please upload a video on how to, and will it work the same as a dsi?

  • Man I need a 3DS.

  • But what if all my music that I want on my 3ds is all on my smart phone is there any way I can put it on my 3ds

  • Wen you have earphones plugged is and close is the music doesn't stop : )

  • This looks very good!

  • How do you put MP3s on the 3DS so you can listen to them?

  • @skyrunner14 YOU GET AN SD CARD PUT IT IN YOUR COMPUTER OR LAPTOP,, PUT MUSIC ON IT THEN PUT IT IN YOUR 3DS

  • @bluedude150 it needs to be a acc or some kind of music file first

  • @slycooper1020 Not true. It supports both ACC and standard MP3 encodes just fine.

  • when I put my SD card in my computer nothing happeneds I really want my own music on this silly ds it's really annoying me >:C

  • I didn't have ll those options on my mnintendo 3ds sound >:C like on the spinny thing that says record &edit sounds >:C how did you put on the music?

  • has anyone else noticed that when you choose the option to shuffle all, it always plays in the same order? this annoys me to no end because if i want a different order i have to select a song then tell it to shuffle all, and even then i havent tested to see if doing it this way plays in a set order depending on the chosen song.

  • How did you put that song on your 3DS David plz reply!

  • why this song david

  • is this louder than the PSP with headphones?

  • 1:05 Oh cool, it's a Rhythm Tengoku visualizer. :D

  • how i put music on the 3ds

  • @MrToquis007 If you have an SD card, You should insert it in your computer's SD card slot. Then select your MP3 files on your computer and drag them into your SD card's folder and then take out the SD card after it's done moving the files then put the SD card into your 3DS and go on 3DS sound and then you can listen to your song files on your Nintendo 3DS. Thank you for your time.

  • One thing I always hated about all DSi models is the lack of PC connectivity, you cannot simply hook your console up with a usb and transfer your music/videos directly like you can on the PSP, you need to buy some card reader or whatnot. It's a shame you still cannot do this on the 3ds. The NGP will no doubt have the advantage over the 3ds on this. And honestly, who cares about being able to change the pitch of your music?

  • Comment removed

  • @zaffap you just fail since every laptop does support sd card, It just sad for you that you're such a hater, 3D vs HD, 3DS win. simple as that, music playback video playback, 3d video etc. Plus changing the ptich of the song is an interesting feature, no doubt NGP will copy that since knows only that. motion sensing, then 3ds will be copied but not so soon since its not on ngp.

  • @zaffap You CAN do that on the 3DS, moron.

  • Lil' help guys, iv put a couple of mp3's on the root of the card, and i'v done the update that gets the cool little vid, but i can't find the mp3's to listen to. any suggestions?

  • @JStok3r you dont have to put the mp3s in a folder, just copy them straight on the sd card.

  • Where do you put the files? The SD's root folder?

  • @zekuhryuh i'm confused too

  • @Atstyle Figured it out :D

On the SD root, create a folder called "Music" and put your files (or in my case, I put sub-folders for each band) there. Even if you don't have to put the music in a folder (I had to, whatever) it's good for organizational purposes.

    Hope this helped!

  • @zekuhryuh thx alot, but I did figure it out since i couldn't go to sleep not until I found how to. Its pretty convienient, like this i won't need to buy another mp3 player or itouch. i was planning to but the way this player works was simply perfect.

  • hey its almost exactly the same as dsi sound

  • how do i get music onto the 3DS o.o

  • update your 3ds. I did and it includes a music video.

  • AMAZING

i cant wait till tomorrow or few days

  • Holy hell, that 8-bit mode is incredible!

  • MP3?

    I CANNOT WAIT TILL TOMORROW!!!

  • you can now hear justin beiber with a deep voice!

  • @Uchihamaster455 it says error to high pitched so you cant

  • @Uchihamaster455 how do you download music to the nintendo 3ds

  • @bmarq46698 put it on the sd card they give you then put it in

  • @Uchihamaster455 you mean almost normal

  • wait, does this mean it can play mp3 instead of being stuck with aac?

  • @planetarypush Yep. I think it does support AAC but said format is no longer a necessity to play music on your DS

  • like a dsi

  • how do you put music on there

  • 3D visualization ! Too bad they look like shit.

  • DPC. FTW!!! I watch wheezy :)

  • does 3ds support bluetooth?

  • The visualization is awesome i love all of them I'M gonna love my 3DS

  • How do u download the songs onto the 3ds is it off the computer

  • @lsarge1311 You download the songs rom the computer and you put them right onto your SD Card that comes with the system. Put the SD Card in the 3DS and boom! Instant music!

  • How many Gb does it have?

Seriously this is much better then any iPod, PSP and crappy thing.

Most of the people that I know use the freaken PSP ONLY to ear music, no they dont play games in there, NOTHING!

People, consoles are made to MOSTLY play not only ear music.

Thats doesnt mean you cant ear music but you have a console so you have to play games in it.

A PSP costs like 200 € and iPods in my opinion are not worth it.

Mp3 players costs even less, like 20€ minimum.

  • @Megabine That's because PSP has no game.

  • OMG ITS DRIFTLESS PONY CLUB

  • What type of format will it be needed to play music? Was it the same as DSI(I forgot the type it was) or is it MP3?

  • @MrFootball365 The 3DS can use not only the DSi supported ACC formats but now you don't have to convert music at all! MP3s can be used.

  • seems pretty cool device.

but cant see this replacing my iphone as a primary mp3 player.

    (go figure)

  • were do i get the song for freeee

  • Can you multi-task while listening to music?

  • Driftless Pony Club!

  • How many songs can a 3ds hold?

  • @communistrecords That depends on how big Memory Card you got in it. So it's up to 32 GB

  • @communistrecords depends on your SD card (the system comes with a 2gb SD card)

  • can u listen to music while having the 3ds closed?

  • @thenewaperez8696 If you have headphones

  • @narutosimme i got my 3ds yesterday and ur hypothesis is true! i can play music with the headphones while the 3ds is closed! :D goodbye ipod and hello 3ds!

  • @thenewaperez8696

a question about the 3DS-MP3 PLAYER can you listen music hard as a ipod?

  • will it blend?

  • hey that's from rhythm tengoku that white guy ^^

  • same sound thing in dsi xD

  • driftless pony club!! :D

  • W00T CHIP TUNES!!!!!!! XD

  • The Dsi XL had way more visuals than that! Why would they cut them in half for the 3DS?

  • @shadowplay9 Yeah the DSi had way more, but almost all of them were terrible, annoying, or boring.

  • @MindlessPawn I decided to just play music on the DSi XL only. Since there really is no difference on the 3DS on that part.

  • Kann man auch ne Liederliste erstellen?

Und kann man bei den Liedern das so einstellen, dass die nochmal (automatisch) abgespielt werden?

  • So you can put MP3 files on the 3DS? Or it´s like the DSi where you can only put AAC (or something like that)?

  • @claudioneitor Yes. The 3DS supports MP3 files, and a bunch more.

  • God, I love using the Nintendo DSi Sound. But this just tips the iceberg RIGHT over with its updated (and new) 3D visualisations (such as the new 3D Excitebike)!

  • O MAH GAWD I CANT WAIT!!!

  • Um why is everything in Japanese? Can you please tell me!

  • @Beanhero50 He bought a Japanese 3DS. It's not released in any other countries yet.

  • @Beanhero50 Sry for my bad english, I am from Germany!!! So the Answer:

Now you can just buy 3DS in Japan, not in USA, not in Germany ;(

So all on the screen is in japanese.

    Hope, I helped.

And again SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH, but I am from Germany. I live in Germany and try to understand this :D

  • can u watch mp4 movies in 3ds

  • DUDE IT'S FUCKING DRIFTLESS PONY CLUB!!!!

  • cant wait till i get mine <3 I preordered, ftw!

  • @VGleeok I remember when I used to brag about having sex with old women. Especially women who have been through child birth 4 times.

  • @BxBrightnot

really because microsoft copywrited that feature, so it will be like psp/ps3 where a game needs to allow Custom Soundtracks

  • @BxBright

not really because microsoft copywrited that feature, so it will be like psp/ps3 where a game needs to allow Custom Soundtracks

  • Wait this was on the DSi, and they took out the MARIO visualizer!?

  • @ACdub10101 i think i noticed some while watching a video on metal gear solid

  • Why cant it just have a USB port? That would actually make me wanna use the music player. I dont know nothin bout no AAC or MP4, all I know is stick wire in computer and move music to sync.

  • @DoubleAIV

I'm pretty sure all you have to do is move your mp3 music to your sd card then insert it to the 3ds. The dsi is the one who uses AAC music but the 3DS only needs MP3 music, it's simple and less hassle converting music files to AAC.

  • awesome!!!

  • Does this mean I can ditch my iPod?

  • @Salnax dont do that!! XD ipod is mainly for music so its better in quality and options.

  • @BakaUzai 3ds sound is great if you dont have a music player or something though

  • @Bubbiea yeah but its not going to beat something actually made only for playing mp3/4/aac. if you have an ipod or mp3 player, its really stupid to replace it with a mainly-gaming thing

  • @BakaUzai how is it stupid?

  • @Bubbiea obviously you're not understanding

  • @BakaUzai what is there to understand?

  • @Bubbiea obviously nothing for you haha

  • @BakaUzai derp

  • @Salnax This definetely isn't better then an ipod for music, but it can be used for music playing if you want to put your music on a SD card and listen you can. I still would rather use an ipod just for music because you can do things such as playlists and album artwork and stuff that you can't do that for the 3ds yet, but I'm sure Nintendo could update it for playlists. I would still say the 3ds is definetely better if your choosing between ipod and 3ds as a handheld device.

  • @Salnax if you can jaibreak a 3ds...

  • @Salnax you may have have to open the acc fiels witch cost some money so dont trow it away just yet

  • @Salnax I sold mine and put the money on my 3DS reservation. =P

  • @Salnax I wouldn't. The iPod has a higher quality sound engine, and is probably worth keeping due to the fact that the 3DS has low battery.

  • @Salnax NO. the 3ds is not as loud as a ipod. earphones dont work well with it.i have one and i cant hear over my tv lol.
