  • OMG! Sounds like janis is rapping at 4:16! Did they have rap in 1969??

  • I love the German people but they have lousy rhythm

  • Has any one out there ever seen janis live and could they let us know what that was like? mindblowing my guess.

  • mmmmm janis no importa tus pequeñas desafinaciones te sigo admirando ♥

  • I can't help but think watching this that Ozzy, Robert Plant et al copied her.

  • @jtomanthony In the Zeppelin biography Robert Plant mentioned somethin about that as a matter of fact. ....or..Jimmy Page mentioned it. But yea...he definitely did. And Ive often wondered about David Lee Roth...YES him haha!! Just look for Van Halen You Really Got Me (1978) <<<< type that in,,,i cant paste the link here. But watch his actions. ..etc. And the clothes and beads.....so strange ,,,but hes a cat tho yea ..or,.,,,was..?

  • amo vc janis d+++++++ te adoro!!!

  • NO ONE has a voice like this, but Janis!!!!!!! When she sings she puts her heart, soul, etc. into every song!!!!!!!!! She can NEVER be duplicated!!!!!!!!!

  • always with me janis! love u xxxxx

  • Janis did have a cold during this tour. The Stockholm show she has a cold, too.

  • A maior cantora branca de blues da história. Insubstituível até hoje.

  • This is great normally I'd have to search TV for her and HERE SHE IS!

  • amazing

  • What a singer she was!! I can watch and listen to her for hours and never get tired

  • Brilliant...

  • Her voice did go off in the chorus but hey, just proves she's singing live and is human! :) LOVE IT.

  • i think its because she wants to stop after singing a few times really hard "try", but the band is pushing her and don't want to stop :-) maybe it flows too good for them.

  • it sounded to me like she was losing her voice when she sang too loud on "try" but it was still a good performance, but she seemed like she wasn't as into it as she's been in other performances.

  • Thrilling performance...I bet the Joplin Estate cringes when Janis' voice breaks a couple of times. The recent Woodstock CD of Janis' set was released...they printed the year of her death as 1971...It is 1970! I wish...maybe she'd still be around.

  • Anyone else think that The Kozmic Blues Band might have been her best backing band

  • She`s soooo awsome!!! I LOVE HER! Her voice is amazing! We`ll never forget you Janis.

  • I love this *-*

  • Loved her music for decades, I will admittedly say I lost touch with how HUMAN she was. She was insecure, lost and so soft bellied.

I apologize Ms Joplin, for no one so real, so fragile. could ever rock as hard as you

  • Triiiiiiiiiiyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to record like this today and you'll be running away from security,, Great performance that only Janis can give,, she didn't need a hundred piece band backing her to blow the roof off,, All the Brittany's,, Beyonce's ,,Mariah's ,, Talor Swift's can't hold a candle to Janis for pure power.

  • Indeed

  • @william3231954 Yes that is the plain God's truth Janis is it and she will never be duplicated EVER! I was 8 years old when she died and i had all her albums and 45's

  • @william3231954 so true

  • she's THE voice, attitude, feeling,soul....

  • @maconhadalata

    Amen !

  • Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin rock!

  • She totally messed it up. But it's great to see a great artist at work.

  • she drive me crazy!!!!!

  • what a voice!!! janis i looove you

  • Damn I wish I could have been at Woodstock. 3 days of peace and love that will unfortunately never be repeated. Remember the fiasco with the Hell's Angels? Whoevers' idea it was to use them for security must have been on drugs.

  • i also i wish i would have been there..so many people peacefully together, what an experience

  • you know that wasnt woodstock?

  • I realize that, but I meant the first time I heard this song was that History Channel special about Woodstock.

  • It was The Rolling Stones idea to use the Hells Angels for security and to understand the reason for that you have to understand the times. In1969 the angels were looked upon as sort of a counterculture police force that would protect the hippies from the establishment, So naturally the stones thought they were cool and would keep the masses from rioting by just figuratively saying "Cool down man",the rest is history..And as for hiring them and being on drugs,,I'm sure they were

  • I think she said "I've heard that before", and then "you guys are too cold man".

  • My English isn't good so,could anybody write me what she said and the audience laughed ?

  • THANKS FOR SHARING? Where did you get this?? Please I want it, can you send it to me or something? I love Janis, I'm a big big fan of her and I want this vid, please help me. Thanks!
