I miss her terribly, and I'm still trying to deal with it, as her death was very recent. I will always miss, love, cherish, and remember her forever and ever. i have to break up with my girlfriend of a year because she is in another state and we have seen each other in 6 months. she is 19 and i am 31 and she needs to grow up and find herself and i cant wait around for it so i need to let her go but she is still hanging on and so i am in a hard place and i met her while we were both in college it sucks it does

@dadsgirl0423 wouldn't matter if she was your daughter. she's of age and can make her own decisions and you would have to suck it up and deal with it. i'm 20 and married to someone who is 29. there isn't too much difference between 19 and 20 and then 29 and 31. its life, and everyone makes their own decisions. once you turn 18 (or if you have a child before 18 you are legally emancipated) you can date whoever you want. and as parents, you have to suffer. sorry but its true.

I had a boy dedicate this song to me back when it first came out. We were both young teenagers at the time and had a summer romance while I was visiting my grandparents. Since then I have gone on to get married to an amazing man and have 3 children, but every time I listen to this song I can't help but remember that boy and the summer we spent together so long ago.

I have a version of this song that has 9-11 news being cast in the background. I just happen to catch it on the radio a few days after the attacks, and was surprised to hear the news announments in the background. It made the song even more haunting, and I really haven't listend to it since.
