  • a C set has a fibreglass moulding over the front of the drivers cab, they also sound like Tangaras, as the others are saying, thats a Definite K set

  • Its definitely a K-set , K-sets' front is flat but C-sets front is slightly caved in at the windows , if you know what i mean

  • Yes it's a K set. C sets have a different look on the front car and have chopper control (hence they sound like Tangaras) and this train clearly does not have chopper control. So its a K SET!! But I wonder why they replaced some of the glued windows with solid glass. The glued windows certainly looked great on them

  • Not the best footage!

  • I used to visit the Parramatta station twice a day going to and from school. During the years 1972-1976. Having left Australia 30 years ago, it's very nice to see the place I have passed through, after a long time. Otherwise I would have no chance to this place. Istanbul is at such a long distance.

  • I'm surprised whoever recorded this video wasn't arrested on suspected terrorism charges. If I saw it happen I would be concerned!Lucky I don't catch trains anymore,LOL

  • i once tried filming a train incoming at town hall station as part of a school film project, but the guard told me not to film it! :S

  • sorry whats the point of this? can sum1 explain to me what its tryin to tell?

  • It's a C set, not a K set. K sets are R sets except they have air conditioning and as a result their windows a 'glued' shut, the C set however has non opening windows from when it was built.

  • No it is a K-set. Have a look at the front car it is clearly a K-set and if you look hard enough this train has a black target plate.

  • Then why does it have replaced windows that don't open? Look at the cityrail website and you'll find that K sets have windows that have been glued shut.

  • All "K" set cars were force ventilated until the late 1980s when the second batch (C3551/T4217C3580/T4246) was fitted with air conditioning, this included the replacement of the "beclawat" windows with sealed non opening windows (as on this vid).

  • @dan388 I though all the K sets have that window now

  • The first batch was finally fitted with air conditioning just prior to the Sydney 2000 Olympics. However, these cars retained the "hopper" windows from its "Citydecker" refurbishment, but were sealed shut with an adhesive to avoid the loss of air conditioning.

  • what platform was it

  • @minifhncc K sets also have the same windows as C sets, but however they run on the north shore/west and northern line.....

  • Have you got any video of the express trains zooming past...that would be awesome.....hahaha!!!!

  • All trains stop at Paramatta so there isn't any expresses LOL. Even Countrylink ones.

  • Oh my gahd!!!..i could watch this all day

  • lol they're not seen on the southern part of cityrail

  • it fuckin never arrives on time what a shit bloody train m,ann

  • The only good thing about parramatta is the train outa there

  • I so agree!

  • The platform is on the otherside idiots

  • mubd, from where mitaal380 was standing the doors looked high above the platform that mitaal380 was on. it was a bit obvious. BTW nice vid!

  • good to see a train clip good job

  • how do ppl get off/on that train?!? The doors are like 2 feet from the platform!

  • The platform is on the other side...?

  • Just to be different :P

  • why the hell would the doors open where the tracks are you dumb fucks

  • nice job :D

  • Why didn't the doors open?

  • The video was taken from platform 4 and the train arrived on platform 3

  • Oooh shit, whoops!

  • Cool video! I missed the dots though....
