@bigheadcrx crx w/b15 weighes 2103lbs... sentra curb weight 2467lbs, if it were an sr swap...no turbo, that'd put it around 140 crank hp, assuming no exhaust, cai, etc. no mods... b18 170hp, 300lbs lighter, 30 more hp...you do the math, yeah dude should've won, assuming no mods. but it was def not a sohc, prob a b16, or just a standard si crx...no way 80hp b15 would keep up with 140 that well. i know my power to weights and engines..not trying to dog the honda, i am a nissan fan, i'm just sayin'

@suckmy4cylinder lol wtf is a b15, and a b18c type r (itr) make 197crank hp ,and my old crx had a sohc no v tec dyo 105hp to the wheel i smoke the shit out of my freind b13 sr20de with both on and my new crx weigh in 1988lbs & with me in the car 2188lbs b16a all motor with both on run 13.8@97mph 1/4 mile ibet s13 s14 b13 with det all day and yes i now sr20det too my bro has a p10 and i did has swap det r fun but not fast

@bigheadcrx i had stock block s14 sr20det running 12.2 in the 1/4 @ 122mph, had a gt28rs turbo only running 15psi, greddy turbo header, full greddy exhaust, jgy 262 cams, tune, mine's ecu, few other things, with 330rwhp, i did the swap myself...and installed everything, just had jgy tune it and help with the wiring...i sold the car recently, have a rb25det sitting in my garage now, trying to find a decent frame. sr20dets are fast, also the fwd dets are pretty quick too, check out jgycustoms (om

@suckmy4cylinder how long is yr sr20 going to last tho under that much power with stock internals u can make alot of turbo cars run hi power but all it does is just shortens the life of yr engine.

@gokuman63 i had it for 2 years running the stock internals, NO PROBLEMS, thats low boost and not that much power, hell the stock bottom end holds up 550hp very well...and it was still running strong when i sold it. hell i bet it'll last 150k+ miles running only 15lbs of boost.

@gokuman63 most hondas have higher compression pistons than the sr20dets, therefore needing a rebuild sooner.

@suckmy4cylinder hahaha no way turbo engines require alot more care then n/a engines as they are under alot more stress i love turbo cars but cant stand the maintaince or the worry of something going wrong like my previouse car mitsubishi evo which is awsume but id take my eg civic over it anyday because its faster and more reliable then it i personally dont think u cud drive a sr20det around a race track like i drive my honda with out something going wrong

@gokuman63 i was meaning if they were boosted without internal modification...and believe it or not turbo engines if properly cared for will last alot longer than you think, hell i have a friend that has put over 200k miles on his redtop sr20det running no more than 12psi, hes on his third turbo though, but those are cake to replace.
