onda are better than most no name generic knockoffs. i have the VX747, and the newer VX787 and VX777 touchscreen models with builtin fm transmitter and they are excellent players. Great value for money
what is the difference between this and an apple Ipod? which is better? is it easy yo use? coz im blonde. does it come with built in speakers and how is the volume on that?? Also if it doesn't work with itunes how on earth am i able to downloade videos :(
ive had a few mp4 players most of which is onda vx858 prob was a bit too small then i had a onda vx747 4.3 in screen sold that and just bought a onda 767 the newer model both have tv out never had and probs with the things they get hammered plug them into the tv my new onda cost me £100 off ebay ithink they are real good value for money and they do the job sound and video is great no messing converting files just works
i just recently bought the onda vx747 and i find it a poor impression of the ipod touch. i would rather stick with the ipod touch considering these reasons. The maximum volume is not very loud, it freezes occasionally with video files,the touch screen is extremely slow responsively and sometimes doesn't respond, the lock switch needs to be redone more nicely as it doesn't respond sometimes and freezes up if u try to watch a long movie on it such as greater than 25 mins
How many of use really use the other supported features? I've always uses nothing more than mp3 and avi and really could care less about the rest! Hey isn't call an mp3 anyways? lol...
It's actually an mp4 player or pmp. Its most touted feature besides touch is the ability 2 play vids w/o transcoding. If this claim is true, it shuld play Youtube, PSP, & iPod vids (not from iTunes) directly. Also, not all avi files r the same, but this shuld play most. Transcoding can be problematic due 2 possible sync issues, not finding the rite converter/parameters, & time consumption. It probably can't play nething too hi quality tho, so transcoding is likely not out of the picture totally.
I happen to, along with both an iPhone and an iPod Touch, and for what it offers at > US 150.00 (shipped)8gb, the Onda is a great DAP, that offers far more codec support (MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG, FLAC, AC3, AAC, APE, AVI XVID, ASF, MPG, MPEG, RMVB, RM, 3GP, MP4, FLV), GUI customization, and microSDHC support up to 32gb... My iPod touch screen devices sure don't.
