Depending on the day varies from color to color, generally I will start with a perch pattern and then let the fish dictate what they want as if there are no bites after a certain amount of time it will be time to change the color
@Deanthebassplayer1 I use my electronics so that I can see how the fish are relating to what is below me and the electronics also allow me to see this bait and be able to present it right to where the fish are positioned
Its nice to hear that you are being a responsible fisherman, enjoying the fish for yourself and hopefully later on someone else will have the chance to catch them again
I don't keep any fish for consumption and fish for the sport and practice CPR, catch, photo and release s othat others are able to enjoy these fish as I have
But if you hit them when they are feeding, you can have a great day out there, was out again today and caught some largemouth and one of them was very good size
here in mn I use the orange rapala for winter bass.. It's amazing how few people target bass through the ice.. I have actually had some great luck.. Pulled a six pound Large mouth 23 incher last week.. That's my personal best large mouth and it came from the ice.. right on the weed edge before a drop off.
Use to use those years ago and haven't tried them lately at all, that is a dandy largemouth for sure and would imagine it gave you a good fight. Keep at it and let us know how things are going.

how are you presenting it? Are you just hitting it on the bottom, or what?
