Thanks for your interest in Kraft Music and the TD20SX kit. For this video we took the direct out of the kit and ran it into a mixer...out of the mixer into the audio inputs of our HD camcorder. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.
Wow. The V-Drums and maybe their Stage Pianos are the only thing I personally think Roland has going for itself right now. I've never been wowed by a set a V-drums from a YT video until now. I've played with a drummer in church using V-drums b4 and for me it took some getting used to because it sounded/felt like I was hearing a CD. It sounded EXTREMELY good but made me a bit uncomfortable and I kept losing focus.
Yes, you can add up to four additional toms or pads to this kit. We do carry the silver cymbals (CY14CSV and CY15RSV) and matching toms (PD105X and PD125X). We generally have all of these toms and pads in stock. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.
wow Kraft Music..i just bought some stuff from them a cpl weeks ago...really great people and fast shipping..thanks..hope yall have a Merry Christmas and a safe Happy New Year!
Thanks a lot for your business. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the TD20SX, or if you need anything else. Happy Holidays to you!
Well, you can use any double bass pedal with the kit. I suppose you could also add a second kick trigger, it would just plug into one of the aux inputs on the module. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.
i really need £6000 !!! this looks like an amazing kit, it looks just like an acoustic kit and i bet it handles like one too! i hope i win the lottery tonight !!!!
The TD20S was the previous version of the TD20 kit and was available in two different colors. The TD20SBK was the black kit and the TD20WT was the white kit. Roland discontinued both of these kits and replaced them with the all silver TD20SX kit last year. The shipping boxes of the TD20SX kit are labeled "TD20KX1" and "TD20KX2" which leads to some confusion. The kit is officially designated TD20SX by Roland US. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions.
I just sold my td 9sx and im interested in buying this kit. I have a question though, if I but this of Kraft Music does it include the Drum set rack and all the necessary wires connecting the pads and cymbals to the module.
Thanks for your interest. When you purchase a TD20SX kit from Kraft Music you will receive the drum rack and all of the necessary connection cables. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.
I don't think a felt beater will hurt the drum heads, but they may not trigger correctly. The Roland plastic beater is recommended for any mesh head kick. Thanks!
@Rakanblizz18: The felt beater will very likely burn through the mesh head of the kick due to the massive friction that arises. It will, however, trigger just fine, but if you don't feel like replacing the mesh head all the time, use a plastic beater.
@Rakanblizz18 I play Roland V-Drums and I'd definitely advise against using a felt beater on your bass drum. Over time the felt will wear away the mesh and you'll end up replacing the head far more quickly than you'd have otherwise had to. Whatever type of beater you use I'd recommend you fit a patch over the impact area to preserve the mesh.
It's also advisable to use nylon tipped sticks when playing mesh headed v-drums. If a wooden tip splinters then you run the risk of tearing your mesh head
Thanks for watching. Just to clarify, Johnny Raab isn't really a salesperson. He's a Roland product specialist and part of his position is giving in-store demonstrations and filming product videos. We (Kraft Music) have a great relationship with Roland, and were fortunate enough to get him in for a series of V-Drum videos. And yes, he is really fantastic as a player and presenter. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions.
Thanks for your interest. Yes, you can use any standard double bass pedal on this kit, and you can configure it any way you like. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions.
@ProtestantLie have you tried rolands (i doubt it) yamaha is very good but rolands are more durable and reliable thats why i choose rolands over yamaha they both make great sounds but roland has the reliability that yamaha doesnt have at the moment
Thanks for watching. Yes, the TD20SX module features four additional "AUX" inputs that will allow you to add extra pads or cymbals. You are really only limited by the space on the TD20SX rack. However, you can always attach extra cymbals to a separate cymbal stand if you run out of room. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.
Yes, it's really easy to make adjustments to the snare sound including drum depth, muffling, and snare tension. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.
Thanks for your interest in Kraft Music and our TD20SX bundles. I actually would recommend getting your order in as soon as possible so we can reserve a kit for you. The TD20SX kit has exceeded our expectations for sales, and we are really having a hard time keeping the kits in stock. We will definitely get you set up with one of these kits. Feel free to contact us with any other questions, or to get one of these kits reserved for you. Thanks again.

and i havent actually used it bcuz i havent recieved it yet
but they told me not to use a felt beater for the bass or any felt on the pads
however if i did for any reason wil it ruin the drum kit?

Hi,
I don't think a felt beater will hurt the drum heads, but they may not trigger correctly. The Roland plastic beater is recommended for any mesh head kick. Thanks!
