you know, for years Europe has been using these things called washdown toilets. Instead of wasting gallons of water draining the bowl, new water simply pushes the dirty water out. They use less water, are hard to clog, and eaisier to clean. Now it makes ya wonder why we don't see these in North America.

yeah except I take ridiculously long showers, so If I HAD a bathtub, it would probably waste LESS water.

another good way to save water: if it's yellow let it mellow if it's brown, flush it down!

and shower less. you don't need to shower every day.

what these ppl making this vid dont want u to understand is when u make a toilet or shower lowflow it cant carry the solids as far down the pipes and this will clog the lines up overtime. the city where i live is having this issue, not enough water flow in the city sewer mainline to the treatment plant so the city has to pump water in the sewage so it flows to it but it will never be on the news cuz we got to go green! so now u get 2 pay a plumber to fix yr clog and $ to the city 4 xtra water

I know what you mean, seems like most applications of the "Go Green" craze are basically just a state of mind without any real impact on water conservation, pollution, electrical conservation, ect.

Oops, I did the opposite. I feel more secure in having a really good flush available. So I modified my toilet to use an extra half gallon of water per flush.

By the way, I don't understand the video title. That bathroom looks off-white rather than green.
