@ihateblink182 The officer dealing with that guy was incredibly patient, they guy was acting like a total douche, if your driving a car rental or not, your responsible for keeping it in order.

The officer was giving him every chance and he clearly stated he wasn't going to fix it, the officer was being far too lenient.

This idiot with a headlight out and a broken wing mirror could easily smash into your car or knock you off a bike because he couldn't see properly at night.

@grishenko45 Because they have to assume someone's innocence until proven guilty in a court of law. Sounds silly, but it's a technicality that a good lawyer could use for much bigger crimes if they didn't say suspicion.
