I just got botox and no it doesn't hurt after the first injection. I had a total of 10 with one needle. I would think that since you are cleaned with alcohol and with a steril needle from the start that there wouldn't be any contamination after the first injection.

i'm diabetic so i know a thing or two about injections. anyways, everytime u use a needle and it pierces the skin it gets hooked over - the point won't be as sharp the second time round. so...wouldn't it be less painful and generally more hygenic to use different needles each time? i might b being simple here but *shrugs*

I know people that are early 20s, usually with fair skin that have lines already, without moving their face. If something is going to make you feel better and more confident than its very worth it. The only worrying thing is no one is certain of the long term effects. Surgery can go wrong, cause infection, everything has risks. Some people get down when they start to look older, I would guess it is better than feeling depressed or taking prozac.
