yes i would i own it as well and i got mine second hand from a band member who beat the fuck out of it and it still plays amazingly the action is amazing the neck feels so fast its unbelieveable and the tone itself is just amazing you wont regret it if u got one sry if i commented a bit late lol

I mean really, what part of a 7 string isn't built for soloing? It's just a 6er, with an extra string. The neck is marginally wider, but not thicker, so it's only a problem if you use incorrect technique (ie, your thumb is all the way over the top of the neck).
