  • Ficou bom. Nice bass!!!

  • and find out why it did not show your face ........ you steve harris!!

  • your playing lack energy !

play it like the acousticbassist, with power and real powerchord sound

  • AWESOME COVER! Although I think Steve actually does this on bass synthesizer (not bass keyboard synthesizer) instead of acoustic bass, but whatever, lol.

  • @drledsabbath you can see he's using the acoustic bass if you look the live version of this song - there's chorus on it as well : )

  • @jericho667 Yeah, i just saw it like after I commented on this, hahaha. But thanks though.

  • @jericho667 Yeah, I did see that, nevermind, lol.

  • what basses and amplifiers do you have?

  • Your tone's very... I guess boring would be a good way to describe it. But you do have some technical skill. So I'd say keep going and try to find your own voice.

  • wrong finger PICIKATo u need ur little finger so in sounds better

  • keep on trying you steve harris wannabe... find your own path and stop posting things like this and play your own stuff!! you worth better than this...

  • @jericho667 Dont listen to that fuckstick, I bet he cant play Steve Harris bass lines. Keep on rockin dude

  • @jericho667 dont pay attention he´s just jealous about your playing and keep up the good work dude , UP THE IRONS!

  • @jericho667

Don't listen to that wanker ^^^ theres nothing wrong with posting maiden bass covers. and your NOT a steve harris wannabe, you obviously value him as a great bassist and musician (as well as any other well-knowledged fan of music) and plus, you KICK ASS AT BASS! XD

  • @sf987photo thank you :D you see, sometimes there's one out of a million that doesn't get it ^^

  • @jericho667

Eh, forget em. I mean, Personally? I've visited your videos, so many times I've lost count. I see your video of The Trooper and Im just blown away at your accuracy, and the great tone and sound of your fingers. All your videos that have Steve Harris solo's I'm left speechless by the end of the videos. IDK, Maybe it's just me, but you sir, are a great bassist. Oh, and I have checked out some of your bands stuff, and that aswell, is also very nice. Up The Irons :)

  • @sf987photo thank you man! it's good to see that at least someone took a look at my bands ^_^

  • @thegroscave What the fuck is that supposed to mean? He's covering a great song by a great band, that doesn't make him a wannabe. It makes him a dedicated fan, and there's nothing wrong with that.

  • @thegroscave u mad bro?

  • @thegroscave

dude, if this guy can play Iron Maiden songs perfectly, dont you think he can make up his own amazing stuff, anyone with these skills can make amazing music by themselves

  • @thegroscave I can assure you, you already have the attention you need :D

  • good ups the irons!!!!

  • what pick ups are ya using

  • @thathtrollguy seymour duncan SBP1 vintage!

  • you sir are fucking awesome....

  • sweet pickguard man

  • f'ck me sideways man that was awesome

  • omg dude are you the new steave harris or what ?:O

  • SIC BASS!

  • now did you actually put flatwounds on it? or are those the stock strings?

  • @artica133 well, these are the stock strings... which are flatwounds :)

  • @jericho667 How do you like the flatwounds? I have a five string so im thinking of gettin the rotosound flatwound 77s

  • @underoathhxc if you ask me, these strings are made to play jazz and fusion, if you want a heavy rock tone go for some stainless steel rounds!

  • dude thats awsome the start solo sounds brilliant!!!!

  • @MegaJosh9 thank you :D

  • amazing dude!

  • Actually, I think that the band realized that the new singer sucked, so they put more effort in it so that th voice wouldnt screw the whole thing

I think that this is one of their best albums (of course without the freaking voice)

  • I want that baaasssss! Haha! You're cool beans man! Good job!

  • @SeventhShagbag thank you man - I don't think you'd like this bass, it's very VERY hard to play, not like your Ibanez :)

  • @jericho667 Haha! I figured as much man! Thats exactly why I want it! ;D Gotta love a challenge and with a tone that amazing its worth beating up your fingers! Haha

  • @SeventhShagbag before buying it I would've agreed, but now I found out that signature strings are out of stock and 60 euros worth anyway... dunno :S

  • Best cover I've seen my man! Another great cover. UP THE IRONS!!

  • nice cover!!!!!!that was perfect. i like playing Steve Harris' basslines too there amazing !!( phantom of the opera is my favorite)but the only thing i cant figure out how to do is the tapped harmonics ..(at the start)i mostly play thrash iv never seen it before can you try to explain to me please?

  • wait a sec, you mean you want to know the notes sequence or the technique to play harmonics?

  • the technique to play harmonics iv never tried them before haha

  • oh, it's easy, all you got to do is lay your finger on the strings (without pushing the strings against the frets) at the 5th and 7th fret and play the strings normally :)

  • Thanks@!!!! you have great covers by the way

  • Try using a 95 gauge string, also make em flatwound string this is was steve uses. if you want it really authentic he uses rotosound strings & for me they make the best strings anyway.

  • freaking amazing dude

  • thank you! UP THE IRONS!!!

  • what type of precision bass is that

  • made in japan, spb1 pickups, badass bridge, steve harris custom strings, vintage hardware, royal blue sparkle finish.

  • sick cover

i had a question im just starting to get into bass and i was wonderin would this be a good starter for me???

black ibanez gio 4 string bass

  • it all depends on your playing style and personal taste; I'd recomend something like green day or guns n roses to begin with, to get familiar with the instrument.

  • Yep.

  • How much did that little beauty cost ya?

  • I was lucky, found it second hand for 400 euros! it's 1150 in shops!

  • it sounds like a jazz bass

  • strings were very old here

  • Hi. I see you wrote it's hard to play that bass with strings 105. Well, I think the problem is the action, the height of the strings, cause on the shadow on the keyboard I see they are too high. Harris loves a low action so to be faster and to get that tipical sound of strings beating the fret that is tipical of Harris. A good setup, moving low the strings would be perfect.

    Are you italian?

  • yeah, and I already did lower my action with the truss rod :)

  • ohhh man nice bass, was gonna buy it a few weeks ago but ended up goin with the my marcus miller signature but mad respect for anyone who rocks a steve harris bass bro!! and sick cover.

  • well, the marcus miller is a fantastic bass as well, more versatyle probably!! thank you for watching ^_^

  • lol ya thats why I ended up goin with it, I like to change up my style of play from time to time for practice. but no prob, keep up the inspiring work!

  • nicely played and a nice bass! ..shiny :>

  • thanks :)

  • That's not supposed to be played with acoustic bass. Nice bass but you should practise more harmonics in this solo. In solution - good cover, keep practising. ; )

  • what? take a look at this: watch?v=a59cKEeddL8

  • hey pal gud work. Have a check of my solo to this. Cheers

  • I already had! I know your cover, it was a great inspiration for me!

  • i see you too my question to heart lol

are u plaing with the music?

  • amazing mate....just spectacular...a true bassie would know how much skill is needed to play the song like u did...

  • I don't very like the solo but u playing like a beast !

Your Bass is fucking mazing !!

  • thank you! what you mean, why don't you like it? =(

  • I don't love the song ( solo ) but you do it very well !

  • oh! well, I didn't like too much either, but I learned to appreciate it :) thank you for watching! :D

  • You always bring us good iron maiden's cover. But, I'm curious: How many bass do you have? It's clear that you enjoy playing P-Bass, have you tried to play other Basses? What made you choose P Bass?

  • I have 3, 2 Precision basses and an Eko MM-300 Sting Ray. I used to have a Jazz, but playing metal needs more punch... :)

  • this song is fukin hard for me, just got the harmonics parts but after that little rundown on the bass i get completely lost, u"ve done it again jericho, cheers!!!!

  • thank you! I must admit I had a little help from my friends :)

  • i get high with a little help from my friends. i'm gonna try with a little help from my friends. (sorry lol, i couldnt resist to make a reference to The Beatles)

  • Yeah, I was meaning just that :DDD glad to see the beatles still live on! cheers!

  • Amazing dude, just amazing :)

  • Brilliant cover mate. You clearly have so much skill in being able to play this! Absolutely spectacular! UP THE IRONS!!

  • thank you very much! UP THE IRONS!

  • UP THE IRONS!!

  • Greatness!

  • Well that's a solo, but without the sustained E in the beginning it sounds empty. Great work anyway!

  • I'd made experiments, you know, and unfortunately the sustained E made the whole recording too muddy to distinghish the harmonics, so I decided to mute the E string right after the first harmonic. Thank you for watching! :D
