  • @eddiefogarty26 never to late to make amends?

  • great song from all them years ago

  • As a kid I always thought it was David Cassidy who sung this, his voice seemed very similar..

  • This was the year i married my beautiful wife

  • Reminds me of the carefree days of youth, wish I was back there! xxx

  • cant help coming back to this song......love it so much....takes me back to happier times.

  • @eddiefogarty26 Me too :)

  • Anyone have Randy singing "Nobody Made Me " from his album "ON TIME" ?..i have been looking for it for years with no luck. : (

  • what is that first symbol/sign....looked like 3 penises around one hole....like this music

  • @hierba73 That is a picture of an adapter used for playing 45 rpm records on a 33 rpm turntable. It goes on the big hole a 45 record has, so you can use it with the normal LP adapter.

  • can't believe this guy made the best soundtrack of all time: the one for gettysburg. i guess we all have to start somewhere...

  • this song reminds me of the times in the army when i was down south hot and sunny.

  • Pretty sure this is the version they play on Woolworths Radio.

  • God I love this song

  • This reminds me of my training days in the WRNS...a lifetime ago!!

  • Love this version, heard 4+2 version in UK first... one of those rare times i like a cover better than the original... really cool version.. love it..... take me home mama lol..

  • I think I was around 15 years old when this song came out by Randy Edelmann, oh the summer of 1976, please take me back there mmmmm

    xxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • @Cazzandrablue ME TOO... I WAS 14 AND IT WAS THE HOTTEST SUMMER I CAN REMEMBER, WISH I COULD GO BACK, SO MANY MEMORYS

  • @barrybwfc Me too, I was just 12 yrs old then - happy memories :)

  • @Cazzandrablue so was I 15 and yes- go back and do a few things differently!!

  • Didn't he write the song?

I admit here in the UK we heard 4+2 version first

but I like this one also but in a different way

  • Hardly, Edelmann was 18 years old, when the single was a hit for Unit Four Plus Two first.

Anyway, my favourite version ist the one by Germany's eighties act Hong Kong Syndikat. (With a great videos!)

  • It was written by Unit 4+2 11 years before this version was recorded. Although they have diffeerent arrangements, both are very good in their own way and both were big hits.

  • Apart from the original by Unit 4+2, this must be the best alternative version.

  • Tenía 15 años de estar buscando esta cancion y al fin.....a disfrutarla como debe ser

  • At the time, 1976 just seemed like another year

Now it seems like a Golden Age that I took for granted and will never see the like again.

There is no pain in life like the yearn of baffled nostalgia...

  • I agree....I love the 70s music soo much...its great sifting through all these fantastic songs..I was young in the 70s, but the music has stayed with me and shaped my love of great music..

  • I had the single too, saw it on here too lol and of course the song came out in that very hot hot summer of 1976. Such a gret year for music and sooooooooo hot!!

  • Yes agree with you there, such memories. I can remember this song coming out, where I was at the time, what was doing etc. etc. the memories are so distinct with this one. Absolutely love it.

  • yeah really great song. god it takes me back to good times

  • yes these oldies bring back such good memories and seem to stay in the mind much longer than the newer songs of today. xx

  • the music today is.nt a patch on the older stuff.

  • Pure class. Love this song.

  • Great song thanks for bringing back some wonderful memories.

  • We see the mountains tumble, all around the purtple shades of evening, sidewalkes in the streets the concrete ad the clay. Beneath my feet begin to crumble.

  • Thanks for this! I'm more familiar with this version of the song, and hadn't heard it, oh... more than 30 years! AM memories, man...
