Just doesn't seem the same w/o Ray. They changed people in and out but Russell and Ray were always there. Russell is the voice of IIIrd Tyme Out but Ray always struck me as the heart.
He doesn't sing bass as far as I could tell. He mostly sings lead and tenor over Russell. They did have their bus driver sing bass on a couple of songs and he is really good.
This has to be one of my all time favorite songs!!! I saw them at Music in the Mountains the last couple years and I loved 'em!!!! I can't wait to see them again.
he is an amazing bass singer too...saw them 2 wks ago at Blistered Fingers Fest in Maine.

Wayne is playing a mandolia and Egar Loudermilk is the bass player and can sing bass but is one of the best tenor singer out there today.

@TheParliment44 Its a mandolia and its tuned to open C. I don't know much about a mandolin so I can't tell you the exact notes of each string.
