  • A great band, and still missed in Gib... still hear the CD played about town though!

  • Great Stuff....remember my days with this band fondly and recording the famous album...shame we have no live footage of the original Blarney Boys but good to see the name continued in such great fashion.

  • my dad was to be the first guy to do this when it was the royal irish rangersfrom the ulster rifles he was the lead singer.

  • I love these guys and has the privilage of playing with them as a guest oboe a few times before they were disbanded, and spent a week with them when I did my work experiance at Kneller Hall. Captain Norley and BM Collins are wicked!! IF anyone puts up any videos of the RIR Band or the Blarney Boys, please let me know!!

  • Spent 14 wonderful years with this Band, once known as the re-trade band the reputation at the end was second to no one Faugh-A-Ballagh

  • excellent videos, i asm trying to get the dvd from the lisburn island centre which should feature the guy playing the tin whistles on it, bit lost as to what to do this summer as i was an RIR band groupie for years lol

  • It was politics. Get rid of the Royal Irish Home Service and Operation Banner you got rid of the Royal Irish band there. Miss the Craic.

  • think you got it now haven't you mate? i miss the craic with these men and women, outstanding and this band should never have been disbanded but their music will live on. FAB to each and everyone of them. They may have taken the band but they'll never take its heart
