  • @Zhucci ummmmmmm... its scary to think you teach people... your a freaking idiot... this is LED ZEPPELIN

  • love this song and I own this movie :D

  • @Zhucci as a music theory professor, you can safely say your dumb fuck

  • wow no way someone made this what great memories! LOTR and Led Zeppelin go HAND IN HAND I SAY!

  • zhucci is saying that led zeppelin stole the song from "The Who". And there are rumors that led zeppelin stole most of their music from bands that opened for them. But they still kick ass and referenced LOTR in a song.

  • Not many people understand Zhucci's sarcastic comment.

  • @bubblygoo123 because theyre either 9 yrs old or fucking retarded

  • Where'd the electric guitar go?

  • I disagree Karoly34, I especially like this version as the acoustic guitar sounds so prominent and is so masterfully articulated - it was this song so many years ago that showed me the real potential of acoustic guitar in the rock genre (that and a few Tull tunes also).

  • One of the stereo tracks is missing... I'm sorry but it sounds a bit shitty like this. The whole dynamics of the song is spoiled.

  • To battle!

  • I can't believe people think Zep is just "jock rock." I mean, listen to these lyrics: they're about love, and longing...and...hobbits.

  • @124HVY Kudos for the Venture Bros. reference. :)

  • 76 people must have died while listening to this song and as their lifeless head landed on the keyboard it accidentally clicked dislike. That is the only possible explination because no LIVING human being could possibly dislike this song.

  • @redsoxfan1324

    kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • @redsoxfan1324 My mom was driving me and my friend somewhere, and my friend never really listened to classic rock before. This song came on the radio...I turned it up. Lets just say my friend likes Led Zeppelin now. My job is done.

  • @cheeseq1695 good. i can assure you your friend is a living human being.

  • @cheeseq1695 I too have converted many people haha it's effortless tho because they are the best band in the world!!!

  • @redsoxfan1324 well..

    there goes another one...

    another died of dislike...

    poor ol' bastards...

  • @redsoxfan1324 Or they are Gaga fans.. Obviously they have NO TASTE.

  • Nice trolling Zhucci.

Nice vid op. Nostalgic movie and nostalgic music. Well done.

  • I will shit myself if Peter Jackson slips this into the upcoming Hobbit film.

  • Crept up and slipped away with heeeeeer! Heeeeer! Heeeeer a jeh.

  • 1:48 The greatest guitar tone ever.. X_X

  • The animation fromt his hobbit movie, in my opinion is unmatched. The soundtrack is very good as well.

  • oops, sposed to be man lol

  • WELL DONE MA

  • okay.

this video needs to be redone in hi def.

here you got 70's era artists trying to lay down some Tolkien.\

they did the best they could considering the tech and society.

    and it aint too bad.

  • teeny bopper pass the acid.

  • wait is this song about the hobbit or f**king?

  • Since i'm like a music theory teacher in my world, Ramble On is the best Led Zeppelin song fit for Fantasy/Adventure movies. ;D

  • OMG! I frist saw this video in 2008, I loved it. then it was banded in YouTube Canada for the next few years. I was so upset. This morning I gave it a search try and to my greatest joy, the Ramble On "Hobbit video"!!!! :D Dude, is there anyway, I can buy this video off you for download?

  • @len0250 buy it on CD... most Youtube videos, including this one, have terrible audio quality. If you get a high quality version of this song, and play it high quality headphones or speakers, it will blow your mind. This version is SHIT, in terms of quality.

  • Guess what; this is one of my favourite songs ^^

  • Gollum is rocking out to this in the lava pit.

  • thumbs up if nikole z's twitter sent you here! haha

  • Comment removed

  • This is a work of art on a work of art. Double beauty.

  • how years ago in days of old that magic filled the air;...I'M So HIGH

  • As a music theory professor , I can safely say this is one of the Who's best songs

  • @Zhucci What do you mean? This is a Ramones song!

  • @Zhucci this is a Led Zeppelin song professor

  • @Zhucci as a music professor, you need to learn the difference between The Who and Led Zeppelin

  • @Zhucci this is led Zeppelin not the who lol

  • @BandCShow11dy6 shame on you not being able to spot a joke ..c'mon man thats pretty bad mate zhucci got you hook line and sinker and a subscription to anglar times ,,,,,,i bet when you posted your comment you read it agfain and went oops

  • @Zhucci now THAT is good trolling! well played sir, well played indeed.

  • @Zhucci HOLY SHIT did you just say that this was one of The Who's songs? This is Led Zeppelin!

  • @Zhucci im still laughing at this comment and hhad to replay the song as i issed it lololoololol thank god for humour

  • @Zhucci i cant believe people actually thought you where serious ...you tube fishing is a should be an olympic sport ..lol gold medal to zhucci

  • @Zhucci

    explain

  • @Zhucci lol this sint the who..its led zepllin...but whatever. both bands rock

  • @Zhucci You are joking! It is all making sense for me at the age of 53. My boyfriend who is a professional musician missed this but absolutely loves the trilogy and the Hobbit and the Silmirillion. Thank God I paid attention, he is wigged out about it and I just love it!

  • @Zhucci WHO KNEW??? "The Who's best song ?" No wonder I failed "Intro to Music Theory Class" On the Final Exam I answered - Led Zeppelin.

  • @Zhucci Well, I failed the test and subsequently the course, now my address is 3615 Soup Kitchen Lane, no regrets tho' as the grub here is filling. I had, at one time, thot I was plenty smart (chuckle chuckle).

  • @Zhucci Hope ya can take some ribbin', 'cause when Mr. Townshend hears about your faux pax, there's gunna be broken guitar parts strewn all about and you'll have a big bump and a helluva headache to explain once you finally wake up.

  • @Zhucci the fuck are you talken about?

  • @Zhucci sure right thats why you named the wrong band there kiddo

  • @Zhucci The Who? WTF? Try Led Zeppelin professor.

  • @Zhucci Notice how nobody thinks this is a joke.

  • @Zhucci Yes, the Who really did a great job on this song.

  • @Zhucci only thing you've done is confuse the hell out of alot of people, including myself.

  • @Zhucci Problem? trollface.jpg

  • @Chimichanga12594 I am so confuzzled ty

  • @Zhucci Lol

  • @Zhucci What??????????

  • @Zhucci

    please share an explanation (:

  • @Zhucci well as a not so much of a music expert i can safly say that you are a bitt to DUMB to be a music theory "professor" seeng how you cant even hear the difrens between THE WHO AND LED ZEPPELIN

  • @HeroofMightandmagic1 nah, this guy seems legit

  • @Zhucci . i think the song is originally by Led Zeppelin, not The Who

  • @Carlos78173 This is most definitely a Zep original and one of a number that reference LOTR. They weren't in the habit of "stealing" songs although they did rework many blues pieces such as Killing Floor, aka Lemon Song. Stealing is when you assume ownership of a piece that is not yours, and to the best of my knowledge, Zep didn't do this.

p.s. The Who and Zep sound nothing alike :)

  • @Zhucci dumbest teacher ever!!!! posibly.

  • @Zhucci That is bullshit. They all knew each other from the Yardbirds and a large portion of The Who turned Jimmy Page down when he asked them to join with him. The Who sarcastically mocked the idea by saying it would be a "Led Zeppelin". Instead he formed another band eventually naming it after their comment. That's as far as they ever came to having the same songs. Maybe something sounds similar to your "genius" mind, but its simply a coincidence. Zeppelin never stole from them.

  • the lord of the rings and led zeppelin combined-AMAZING

  • mr.frodo mr.frodo we only have one jaffa cake left

if you get that your awesome

  • That looks more like an animated Willow than Frodo.

  • @centerforce2 It's Bilbo, since this is The Hobbit, not Lord of The Rings.

  • Never seen this movie....will probably end up catching the STUPID remake

  • @LoafcakeX1 It's by Warner Bros 1977 it's really a good version not much adaptation that I can recall its on Amazon, wouldn't let me post a link but look it up ;)

  • @LoafcakeX1 Well it's the animated adaptation of Tolkien's The Hobbit, the prequel to Lord of the Rings. Still no word on when the live-action adaptation is coming out though.

  • I like it, very fitting.

  • @BigballzDeep It probably helps that they mention Mordor in the song.

  • 'Twas in the darkest depths of Mordor I met a girl so fair. But Gollum, and the evil one crept up. And slipped away with her.

  • @HeyRuka HeyRuka??!!! wow its a small world. im subed to you

  • @HeyRuka sounds to me like he says "but gollum, at the evil wall, crept up and slipped away w her."

  • they should do a orchestral / celticish remix of this for the new hobbit movie soundtrack

  • damn good song, and damn good band

  • this song is cool but man this movie was terrible

  • This version of the song doesn't have that electric guitar riff thing.

  • All these bands contributed to the future of music, to varying degrees. However, I challenge anyone to show a guitarist's list of influences that doesn't mention Hendrix. I can also name a riff from every modern band that was ripped off from something he did. Proof positive he is the root of at least a portion of their foundation.

  • Sorry for the double... I left out mac and reposted everything. Your video is good. Several key moments in the song when visuals matched audio, esp in the beginning. Nice.

  • It actually goes like this.... The Beatles are number 1. Led Zepplin is number 2. Only two bands in history to earn 5 Diamond Awards. Zep is my favorite. Then we have the stones, pink floyd, black sabbath, aerosmith, etc...

  • awesome

  • Wherz Gollum? "But Gollum, and the Evil One..." The Hobbit isn't complete without Gollum! I still loved the clip though - thanks for putting it together. It's like peanut butter and chocolate, or something.

  • C'mon people let's get the views up to 1,000,000 for the sake of all good music!

  • Poor Bilbo had wayyy too much on his hands >.>

  • just jizzed............

  • i hate how anyone that comments on a led zeppelin video on youtube is so narrow minded about music. guys, there are other bands that have done waaaaay more for rock and roll than black sabbath, deep purple, and lynyrd skynyrd. dont get me wrong, those band are cool too, but rock and roll goes so much deeper than just black sabbath, led zeppelin, deep purple, and ac/dc

  • @wiiiiillllll like Boston,Long Time

  • @wiiiiillllll totally agree

  • I love how the lightning strikes the first time he says "ramble on"

  • please do a simple search of Led Zeppelin Ramble On, and you'll find much better versions musically...yes this cartoon is cool, but the audio SUCKS FUCKING ASS

  • omg, this version is missing half of the tracks!!!

  • @BeyondNeptune please don't think the real song sounds like this...this recording is missing half of the audio..i'm not joking... wow..this is bad

  • OH HELL YES

  • Jana....You forgot Metallica

  • lol im so stoned n this video is amazing

  • Yeah Zeppelin is fucking awesome, and a lot of modern music is crap, but that doesn't mean creativity decided to die in modern times. Creativity is not bound by time.

  • @Tengent but creativity is bound by the filthy jews who tell modern "musicians" what the lyrics will be, what their costume will be, what the music will sound like, and even profile the "fans" ahead of time, making it all a big marketing game. And the jews at the top get all the money and the robot on the stage just gets a salary and inputs nothing musical.

  • @BeyondNeptune When hasn't it been like that? And are all musicians like that? NO.

  • @BeyondNeptune you are fucked up--just enjoy the music

  • omg two of my favorite tings put together Led Zeppelin and Tolkiens book(cartoon) FTW!!! RAMBLE ON!!!

  • No doubt about it that this band is one of the greatest of all time.

  • Thumbs up if you want this song in the final credits of the future Hobbit movie!

  • @juresaiyan Oh god that would be beautiful.

  • this song is actually really fitting to this movie

  • Led Zeppelin > The Rolling Stones > The Beatles.

Anything before 2000 > All modern music.

  • @gaaramonkeyx Hey, look! An opinion!

  • @PhoneHomeProduction Yeah I never said it wasn't lol. Whats wrong with sharing one's opinion?

  • @gaaramonkeyx Just saying, you stated it as if it was written in stone or something. Personally, I like the Beatles better than the Rolling Stones and Led Zep.

But you're right about the anything before 2000>Modern Music.

  • @PhoneHomeProduction Hey look! Its A Fact!

  • about time somebody put this back up.

  • I wish peter jackson would do "the hobbit". He would do an amazing job, the hobbit is just an amazing masterpiece. I overflow with respect for Tolkien.

  • @MacMan282 As a matter of fact, Peter Jackson IS directing The Hobbit. Check it out

  • @JForcE777 yea, i just found that out about a week ago! I'm very excited :)

  • This version of Ramble on is SWEET, the video is Random though I wanted a shot of Gollum when he's mention in the song. Still GREAT JOB LOVE IT

  • You sir.. are a genius. Seriously, you made my day!

  • Seriously these are the same drawings as for Thundercats?

  • @Rambleon31 no.its worse xD

  • @MakeMeMad31 ahah yeah indeed ^^

  • Incomparable. Five stars.

  • Incredible!! love it!♥

  • @balerinauzicka

puts me on my ass every time i hear them

  • @TheSlevaslava Thats one hell of pussy metal.

  • No one yet has mentioned Jimi Hendrix?

  • its really cool how you can list the bands that everyone in america knows... you're, very, knowledgeable?

  • PLEASE ALLOW ME TO INTRUDE HOWEVER ON THEIR BEHALF I THINK 'humble pie ' GOT left out somehow HERE on this rig..

  • I doubt if Mr. Page would ever allow such a movie to be made.

  • @kashmirpage robert plant would.

  • Don't get me started on legendary bands, The Beatles, The Doors, Queen, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Pat Benatar, And pretty much everything else that everyone said.. And if they made a movie about Led Zeppelin, And Keanu Reeves played Jimmy Page, I think I would shoot the fucker who casted Keanu,
  • Hmm, what about Grand Funk Railroad and Credence? Journey is underrated.

  • and fleetwood mac, pink floyd, jefferson airplane, crosby stills nash and young, creedance clearwater revival ccr, chicken shag and many more

  • If you wanna state legendary bands,it more like this; Led Zeppelin,Black Sabbath,Deep Purple,

Lynrd Skynrd,The Doors,The Stones and of course

the Beatles... thats what rock consists of really!

  • @janajustin1 you left out Pink Floyd

  • @janajustin1 ....you could just talk shit about Lil Wayne to get thumbs up, its about as original as listing bands....

  • @janajustin1 dont forget pink floyd!!!!!!

  • @janajustin1 perhaps in that order becaue the beatles can barely be compared in this company

  • @janajustin1 Black Sabbath is NOT legendary and how dare you forget Pink Floyd and Jimi Hendrix and Van Halen

  • @janajustin1 ...And Rush, how could you forget Rush?

  • @janajustin1 wait what about hendrix

  • @janajustin1 Yes, if all you listen to is one top40 classic rock station, that's probably true.

  • @janajustin1 You forgot The WHO brother

  • @janajustin1 What about Hendrix! You can't forget the experience haha.

  • @janajustin1 are you a retard? WHERE THE HELL IS PINK FLOYD IN THAT MIX? IDIOT!

  • @lilphantomkilla

God damn calm down. Typing in all caps makes you look fucking stupid by the way.

  • @janajustin1

The Who, Baby!!! Jimi Hendrix!!! You forgot a couple others too, lol.

  • @janajustin1 you forgot Pink Floyd and The Rolling Stones

  • @janajustin1 what about HENDRIX?

  • @janajustin1 fuck ya
