  • Get happy. Listen to this again & again & again....

  • They are so positive! I love the Indian meets British vibe! I just don't know how to describe how good these guys are.

recent session on bbc 6 music (Marc Riley, cool) was terrific.

  • @superchunk333 thank you for kind words, glad you enjoyed the Marc Riley session back in June - did you hear our show covering for Jarvis on 6Music?

  • Song grew on me. Cleverly conceived video. Where was the video shot? To what degree was it 'staged'?

    Cheers from the States!

  • Heard this song on the local community access radio station in the States. Awesome

  • I got the MP3 from the Cornershop website, great album. I've been trying to find an explanation of this song (and pretty much all of their songs). Does anyone know what they're talking about?

  • @retox Hi, this is an anti-war song with an eye on what the future beholds in terms of technocracies. Tjinder is a mixed up cookie,& all songs have their layers of influences locked under combination locks. In the realm of the way the group like to put politics over-if you did get it straight away they would not be doing their job correctly,& would be merely preaching. Please help break the combination code,& follow Cornershop on Twitter, Facebook, & their official cornershopcom, Ringo

  • FINALLY!

  • @tdottim Hi, yep its finally out. It took so long cos we decided to do it on our own label - ampleplay

We need all the help and support we and you can muster so please follow Cornershop on Twitter, Facebook, & their official cornershopcom, Ringo CSHP HQ

  • I love this band, seen em live a couple of times... AMAZING!!,I agree soo under-rated.

  • @crazybobwhite They coming!

  • the new album is a masterpiece!!!!

  • The NME office have been pounding the new Cornershop album "Judy Sucks A Lemon For Breakfast. Reports has described heavy rotation of the whole album for the past few weeks now!! Their office tape deck must be worn out as it is a double album.

This morning Jamie Fullerton of the NME wrote in a blog:

"I've been listening to 'Roll Off Characteristics (Of History In The Making)' by Cornershop all morning on repeat."

I can only applaud such out of hand behaviour by our youth.

  • or how bout loading Free Love or I hear they have just done a Beatles cover of Mr Mustard & Polythene Pam from the Abbey Road album

  • would anyone like to upload: butter the soul?

  • Wow!!! Who was the DP for this video. It would be easy to dismiss this as drunken street film making but this is truly superb camera work . Who is the camera operator / director ? Glad to see You Tube HD put to excellent use!

  • Shanker Raman, DP & Prashant Bhargava, Director - part of the upcoming film 'Patang'.

  • I played this track out last night and was asked to play it again, and again. Five times in all!! Peterborough has never danced so much in years.

  • great tune Cornershop!!!!

but still.. nothing can beat brimfull of asha.

    well done.

  • omg long wait for a new single, huh?
