The Touch Diamond is rumored to come out on 9/2 for Sprint for probably $299 after a $100 MIR. The Touch Pro will be released soon after in September as well. Both phones will have 30 days exclusivity with Sprint before they get released on Verizon. The Sprint versions will have much better hardware than the Verizon versions. The Diamond will ship with a bigger battery unlike the current Europe GSM Diamond probably with a 1040mah.

The Touch Diamond doesn't have 4GB of RAM, it has a 4GB internal storage. The Touch Diamond has 192MB of RAM and a 256MB ROM while the Touch Pro has 288MB of RAM and a 512MB ROM.

It lacks the 4GB internal storage, but it includes the option of using MicroSD 2.0 cards, allowing you to add a 32GB MicroSD card. However a card of that size isn't available yet. But 8GB or 16GB is!

The only real difference between the pro and the diamond is the Keyboard, the MicroSD 2.0 port, and a larger ROM and more RAM. However, there's no difference in the software.

The Pro isn't available in my country yet, so I don't about prices. However, I assume it will be a bit more expensive than the Diamond!

The only things the Pro has that I wish the Diamond phone had is the bigger battery and the microSD slot. The Touch Pro looks like it is too thick to me. My current Treo phone is about the same thickness and it bothers me. It also looks a bit odd with the screen being off center from the keyboard. The various touchscreen keyboards on the Diamond seem pretty good.
