1 Very very bad to modify intake or exhaust on any engine with a carb without changing main jet size.

2. 2-stroke engines need the exhaust back-pressure to run properly. You're not only losing power doing that your causing your engine to run lean and hot(bad).

@2Strokenation the main jet was changed, went from a 240 to a 260 (should of put the 270 in I had). and I didnt run it like that, just idled it to see what it would sound like.

yea i live on a farm by a ighway and i wanted to try to do a huge hill and i made it up but on my way down i was coasting in nuetral so i could go slow and i hit the shift lever into first and i flipped and rolled down the hil and bent my brake lever

@IOwn4Tractors dude ive been running an 01 blaster without a silencer for over a year with no damage to the reeds and no compression loss, it will not hurt a 2 stroke as they do not have valves, take your silencer off your bike and i bet you will notice an increase in power. "01 blaster; custom intake timing advanced 4 degrees, milled head, stock head pipe with no silencer, runs on 112 octane race gas.
