For me, retro is 70s -early 90s. Some of this stuff seems like it's only 10 minutes old.

Btw, One Piece looks totally rad. 90s X-Men, however, was so poorly drawn and animated, with terrible music, that show was unwatchable!

I'm not knocking the shows but anyone notice more than half of those shows were Japanese imports? When is the US going to get off it's tail and start doing animation again? Funny, kids are going to be more nostalgic for Japanese cultural references than American ones. This is legacy of cheap studios that don't want to put money into American animation.

I agree 100%. I used to watch X Men on Saturday mornings when I was in High School (1992-1996) and Taz Mania came out in 1991.. I always think of retro as the 80's but the 90's will be retro soon.

Ack... The altered version of cardcaptors they made for america is horific. That awful song for a start, and they changed and choped the rest of the series (basicaly they thought america didn't care about story or the more in depth character stuf). Butchered it. If you don't like japanese style animation then it wouldn't make much difference, but they shouldn't change everything for a different country.
