The vibe she was clearly going for is definately more of an Indie sound, hence the many Guitar solos and Coldplay type instrumentals.I keep wondering why people keep saying R&B. "DIL' and "Bday" were her most R&Bish albums. "I Am" was more pop and "4" has some old school R&B vibes but more Indie then anything.

Rihanna is NOT bigger than Beyonce. Beyonce's album sales eclipses Rihanna's.Beyonce is on the way to being a movie star, actually made more movies than Diana Ross, for instance. And Beyonce has won a ton of Grammys. You cannot judge an artist based on the current activity alone.
