I saw/met them back in '08 when they released their first album and have seen them several times since then. The thing I think I love most about them (besides their ridiculous talent, obviously) is how down to earth and sweet they are no matter how busy/crazy things are.. they always take time to actually talk to their fans.

My bf invited me to their concert in Houston, TX. She waited 2 hours after they finished playing to meet them. She said they were super nice and very down to earth. The show was awesome. I am officially a fan. The members of the group compliment one another perfectly. They are awesome!!!!!!!!!
This is indie at its finest. Not emo as we classify that genre today. Any music puts emotion behind it, whether fake or real. These musicians jhust happen to put REAL emotion behind them. If this is emo... Well i'll have to say for the first time ever I LOVE emo music, then.
However, everything has a genre. I generally consider ATE somewhere between Alternative Rock and Indie Rock (referring not to independent production, but to the staple indie sound). I've heard Alt Classical been used before too, which seems to fit. They're pretty difficult to place though, i'll give you that.
take this as you will but emo music is simply defined as "rock music characterized by melodic musicianship and expressive, often confessional lyrics", which would indeed make this emo music. The thing is emo evolved from hardcore punk, so it usually has more of a punk rock feel, like with older jimmy eat world, one of the first popular emo bands, although one could argue that JEW's and the airborne toxic event's music share similar qualities.

Is there any way to get this song on disc/electronically as it's performed in this video? The version on the album is a poppy-bastardized version of this and really reduces the quality. It would be nice to have a compilation of their live, orchestral performances like those in their videos because they're far superior to most of the performances on the album. Wow... I've been listening to this band for years, but since my music collection is temporarily unavailable I had to use youtube and found this brilliant acoustic version of innocence... I love every single version of this song. Debut, all I ever wanted and this brilliant version. They're all so different, but equally brilliant in their own ways.

I'm not sure I get this style of music. No one's wearing a metallic bra, fu$ked up hair with a bunch of anorexic dancers helping some half woman half no talent hack create a pos video with autotuned singing.
