Yay it works! But is there a way to get it to work if I have absolutely no money to spend in order to re scan it?

If not then that's ok since I only need to reload a save state with enough cash, but if there is that would be very helpful since the money cheat is REALLY useful for me if I have NO money. :)

@HueyJoe You sure you altered the right file? Maybe you're clicking a different file or forgetting to spend some money before making the final changes.

Cheat engine cant find the empire total war.exe file. I had tried to make a shortcut of ETW on desktop but it says there's a error violation. NB i installed this game over steam, and not by disc. So i was going to steam. and found the Empire application file. Which ofc did not work. So i tried again but put .exe in the end. Still no solution. Is it need to uninstall etw, and then install it by disc? Or is there anywhere over steam that cheat engine are able to find the .exe pls reply :)

@zesusdk huh, that's odd. I used the disc to install it which shouldn't mean much bc it just leads you to steam where you "officially" download it. Try searching around a bit. I'm assuming you have all the specs and etc. so the game can run properly. The only thing that may come to mind is that your file that hold the "empire.exe" name has a different name than what is in my video.

@Nantchev Same game engine pretty much. I'm pretty sure this would work with alot of the Total War Series games. No bugs or viruses. Not for me atleast or anyone else who watched this video haha. Trust me, I wouldn't be making a video on some hacked site. instead of Empiretotalwar.exe look for shogun2.exe (probably) same steps and should work!

@phareal97 that's odd. I use ctrl alt del as well. Try saving your game or start a new campaign and see if it does the same thing and get back to me.

Just a fast question can after you did the Campaign mission can you still continue then and try too get every1 down or not or does it just stop the campaign when you have done your mission?

@MelOgOstOgPizza It depends on what your victory conditions were awhen you picked your nation. From what I've seen the game ends when you meet the victory conditions by 1799 if you chose the long campaign for example. I do not believe you can still play after the year 1799.

@Rolkside No the game goes on just as it is. It's not really registered as cheating in the game as you are simply changing the numbers in the game itself, and not something that artifically covers it up. The money is interactable and nothing bad should happen. Happy hunting!

And I am telling you it was worthit, I have all of europe except russia, half of india and all of americas @ yr 1752. @MultiMarcus111 I've looked, you can try trainer cheats for it, meaning you download a file that allows you to do things like that, but since Steam updates quickly, they're practucally useless unless you make one up yourself. In that case be sure not to mess up your hardrive or game files. Hope that helps!

@hanobvic You must be doing something wrong, because everyone here says it works and I've been using it for over 4 months now. Make sure you actually downloaded the right file becuase that website isn't the best navigator. Also if you have Norton, it should recognize it as safe if you allow it to download.
