lol I liked the comment about not putting american parts on a japanese car. you do realize that pretty much every "japanese" car you can buy in the states is made here right? I had a civic 4 door that was made in seattle and my coupe was made in chicago. real japanese isn't it?

@VanGalo90 It'll be louder, and you actually get an extremely small hp gain from better flow, and less weight on the car. You'll hear the difference, but wont notice the hp gain. Way too small.

umm this is simple a civic exhaust pipes exit to the right rear so i dont think that is correct if your calling this a civic this is def a 6cyl engine and the pipes to the left and to tell you that it is a mk3 supra at .04 seconds it shows the tail lights for a second

keep an eye on it for breaks or leaks though. who knows how well the exhaust is manufactured.

I put a magnaflow on myine, and it is too loud now, I honestly feel a few horse power from the new muffler. the stock ones are too restrictive.

Also, the stock nonturbo and turbo mkiii have a catalytic convertoer, followed by another resonator type muffler then finally the visible muffler. VERY restrictive

As for the integrity of the piece itself, I'm not so sure.

But don't go around knocking the way something sounds just cuz it has 2 less cylinders than you would like it to have. You can't argue that this doesn't SOUND like a finely tuned exhaust (even though it may not be)

apexi ws2. custom built exhausts such as built by buschur or ams.] or dsm showdown motorsports. or try to put a bit of magna flow in your custom built exhaust and listen to the difference in tone. also. don't put fart cants on a civic ne ways, cause it doesnt make it any faster.

yea you gotta go with the big boy exhauts like ractive, greddy, 5zigen, or HKS ... those are my favorite aftermarket (performance manufacturers) ... i have a 3" ractive exhaust (full system) ... hks headers ... and an AEM V2 intake ... it's LOUD, not raspy either, i hate those ricers trying to be hot shots ... and this video shows that not all imports are ricers ... this car sounded nice.

Ok sorry I havent replied. I dont have the car any more but I will still answer questions. I would not put american parts on a japanese car so no magnaflow and i paied about 30 bucks for this muffler shipped. I had no test pipe just cat back. Yes i did i went with the 2.5" piping i was new to turbo cars soon after i got a 3" catback.

wow youre not gonna get any gains out of a muffler. if you had a full system MAYBE like 4 or 5 HP and thats at most.

for na carz that tru but itz a lot different wen dealing with turbo carz. also the title is exhaust rev so i wasn't sure if it was the whole system or jus muffler tip and last but not least i went to a shop that had a dyno jet and a 2001 celica gts showed 15 hp gain with the custom exhaust they put onto it

well, even with a car with f/i (take a s/c'ed GTS for ex) ull probably get a gain of around 20-30 HP with headers, hi flo exhaust/turboback, CAI, etc..
