nice tank! this will piss you guys off, the person i share a flat with has two goldfish in a bowl, the bowl has no filter, no oxygen pump and fake plants, it gets dirty quickly and isnt cleaned often. Theres nothing i can do! one of the fish is now not swimming as much, i keep replacing the water but it needs a good thorough clean! i see this tank and think they should be in something like this! why have pets if you cant look after them!

@Sweeda88 actually a lot of corals reefers purchase are "aquacultured"...which means they come from corals that are already in captivity. If an aquarist just makes sure to buy only aquacultured corals then corals are fine!

Good luck on your aquarium. Everything but the rock and fish is artificial. I wanted to have types of fish that you can't have with corals. I think the fish you might be asking about are a Blue faced Angel and a Harlequin Tusk Wrasse. Both are great fish. Too big for a 20 gallon though.

This is a really strange comment. I'm not too worried about my metal halide lights falling in the tank. For one thing, the sockets they are screwed into are screwed into wood and secondly, I have glass tops on my aquarium.

I really like your tank. :P Just a suggestion here, if you flip your background around, if there's a black side, it will make everything else in the tank really pop. That's what I did in mine. It really adds to the whole aquarium.

I commend you on your beautiful fish. However, it's better to use live rock if you don't want to invest time and money on coral. Fake coral never looks real. It's as bad as putting fake houseplants in your living room.
