Why is it that candidates for president who speak the truth have no shot to be the president? the answer is in one party system with a wide spectrum of candidates from extreme left to extreme right, having equal access to money and equal access to media and the Millionaires are forbidden to use their personal fortune as an advantage over other candidates. yeah, i have to agree that ron paul and mike gravel are the only two candidates for president (and probably kucinich) that don't make me want to throw up. though i believe that government can exist as an entity to improve the quality of our lives and thus am leary of paul's intent to dismantle the entire system (as corrput as large parts of it may be.) i respect paul a lot, especially on foreign policy, but his 'free-market-capitalism can solve anything' approach leans me to gravel.

Up until about a month ago I had lost about all hope of finding someone worth getting excited about in the 08 election. That was until I ran across Ron Paul! He is the straightest talking AND acting man running by far. I didn't know there was anyone left in government that felt the same way I do. I cannot wait to vote for this man.
