As a first aid instructor for 11 years and an EMR. There is really no subsitute for ventilations and compressions. The brain cells start to die in 4 min. In 15 they are dead.
@sgca428 I have no medical training at all. I do not doubt you, but would you say this video is useless, without any merit ? If you know of something better for the average person who does not have your training, please let's talk. Thanks for responding.
CCR was developed years ago by the Resuscitation Research Group at the University of Arizona Sarver Heart Center in Tucson, Ariz., led by Gordon A. Ewy, M.D., who co-authored the JAMA study.
I guess that's between The Mayo Clinic and Sarver Heart Center. Two different videos, and both are claiming the technique. I could not find it in the AMA journals.
Will research it one more time and report any conclusive findings here.
