Your weight should not be on the balls of your feet. Proper biomechanical weight distribution should be the ankles which is more towards the heel. Ben Hogan even mentioned this in his 5 Lessons book. This is why golf instruction has not improved average golf scores, forever. There are too many(I will call them myths) misconceptions to ever make the ordinary person any better.
