  • he is saying what to do in the description...

U put power on pin 7 and 19, google the pin map. the pins can be found as a round connection in the engine compartment, if u dont have the bmw reset tool this is the easiest way.

  • now i know what to do...... oh wait no i don't :S you FOOL!!!

  • you french douchebag who posted this crap, you should shove the key up your ass

  • ???

  • 1. Locate the 20-PIN DLC Connector. It is located under the hood, on the firewall next to the fuse box.

    2. Connect/Short pin 7 and pin 19 with wire/pliers/paper clip. MAKE SURE YOU CONNECT ONLY THESE TWO TOGETHER! (They are labeled with small numbers next to each pin)

    3. Turn ignition to position 2 (ON)

    4. Remove connection/short after no more than 5 seconds for OIL CHANGE. 10 seconds for INSPECTION.

  • @hampnich

I`ve tried that on my E39 and didn`t make success. Nothing was happened. What do you think i`ve done badly?

  • @kadett1989 I did the same like hampnich said, on my bmw e30, and it's work perfect. Try again and make sure you follow all the steps. Keep the key turned on until the oil lights dissapear (it took a little longer than 5 sec. after my counting, like 6-7 sec. but I'm not a machine so correctly will be around 5 sec. after a counter/watch)

  • @hampnich followed your instructions, and it worked a treat. Thank you very much for saving me pots of money.

  • Its a simple diy: just ground the pin nr 7 in the round diagnostic plug under the hood. then go into your car and put hte ignition on level 2 (not start the engine!). then just wait for about 3 to 10 secound untill the green lights turns on ;)
