I AM THRILLED that the tourniquet technique is being used now! There is nothing more devastating than anesthesia awareness... being able to communicate when paralyzed with sux or a sux analogue is a PHENOMENAL improvement in mitigating the trauma of anesthesia awareness. WELL DONE GUYS! ^_^
Great videos. Let me invite all to our anesthesia discussion group where all these and other anethesia issues are discussed among 550 members-just google Anesthideas.
Looking forward to hearing from you ! Ivan, Moderator, Anesthideas

when the anasethesiologist put the mask on my face, nothing had happened for lie 12 seconds. i got worried that i wouldnt fall asleep. lmao as soon as i thought that thought, the next thing i knew i was awake and the nurse was still pushing me. i was like wtf happened? she said its over. lol it was fun
This was absolutely fascinating - thanks for posting this as I am unable to see it via television. Very informative, but certainly not dull ! Thanks again.
This is totally facinating. After Michael is given the Neuro muscular Block it clearly kicks in and he is ventilated presumably respiration has already stopped. Has this been edited funny as he clearly swallows at 5.33
@crazydaisy999 I know you posted a long time ago, but here's the explanation: if he swallows, it's because the muscles in the body are differentially affected by the paralytic. He probably needs assistance breathing, now. The diaphragm is not as affected as the accessory muscles of respiration or the muscles in the airway, so theoretically he can still inhale, but he might be inhaling against a tongue that's flopped backwards. Guess the esophagus isn't as affected either.
