  • bi-turbo means twin turbo. umm and this shit is not twin turbo for sure....

  • Try the cp stage 4 $350 I have one on my da9

  • It sounds like you don't have 5th

  • bad bad ... amatuzzi portugal .i.

  • vtec and turbo together, isn't that too much pressure to the engine? must have amazing acceleration, and love the sound!

  • Yuh blew it..

  • Car sounds amazing

  • There was a knocking noice at the end then a oh oh i wonder what it was?

  • Wow this just sounds amazing

  • its still on a single cam. build it on a b series non vtec like a b20, that'd be impressive

  • how much HP this thning got now??

  • @COCOTEA09 We have no idea. We haven't found a clutch that will hold yet. We're going to try a new one hopefully this spring and get it on the track for the next West Michigan Honda Meet. The car is not road legal, so we're pretty much restricted to track days.

  • @i64X oo ok btw ur car sounds sick ass fuck man

  • It seems like you were trying to catch up to traffic, which are probably going about 55mph..

  • O.o

  • sick steering wheel what brand is it?

  • @tonytrilex Junk eBay wheel. The car was originally built to the Grassroots Motorsports' $2000 budget. Eventually we went slightly over - what you see here cost us about $2500, including the price of the car.

  • car sounds AMAZING! turbo honda setups always have problems though...

  • damn nice man

  • theres a honda you dont want to fuck with, i seen how fast ur gauge was going up dog, imma add this to my favourites

  • Soounds sexy

  • sounds great

  • thts all u need. one gauge

  • Impossible to know the cars' sexuality.

Also, Impossible to walk in this muck.need golfshoes

  • You can't have a biturbo bro !! Impossible in this car !!

  • @MrTomosko Small turbo feeds big turbo. It's not twin turbo because they're sequential and not run in parallel.

  • Lol at the clutch

  • @SSFproductions1 Yeah that clutch sucks. We're going to try a new one this year. Hopefully we can find one that holds. FYI though this one was new - Exedy Stage II, and were told it would hold. Apparently it didn't. :-p

  • thats Never a BI TURBO !

  • Sweetest sounding sol on Youtube!!!

  • Just came twice

  • Sounds sweet

  • First of all, get an Exedy! And second, never let the car roll in neutral.

  • @Kurosaki990Ichigo why not?

  • @999damnit Because if you roll in neutral at high speeds 1st of all you cant get into gear easy without revmatching the engine. 2nd if you try to turn the car at speed in neutral you have to use your brakes thus ruin the balance and probably oversteer. 3rd you wear your brakes too much instead of letting the engine slow the car down, and 4th and most important, with the slightest misfire the engine might shut down. If at speed you have no power steering no brakes no control at all.

  • @Kurosaki990Ichigo okay thanks for your time

  • @Kurosaki990Ichigo It's not a good idea to let the engine brake the car when the clutch is destroyed - as this one is. Replacing some brake pads is easier than pushing the car all the way back to the trailer when the clutch completely goes from engine braking with what little bit of it is left. FYI the clutch was destroyed from a weekend of tracking with this setup. Also, in line with your previous statement - it is an Exedy.

  • nooooooooooooooooooo i work at exedy ... that should tell you sumthing

  • @brantoon1 that all our parts are awsome

  • @Kurosaki990Ichigo The clutch is an Exedy Stage II. Didn't hold.

  • @Kurosaki990Ichigo why shouldnt you let it roll in neutral.....ive heard about not with the clutch in but neutral?

  • @Kurosaki990Ichigo can i ask you a question ? , why should we never let the car roll in neutral ? is that bad for the car ? thanks for reply

  • @macbeth930 with the car coasting in neutral it shouldnt hurt the clutch as long as its not engaged

  • @tubefreak90 oh ok ! so i should put it in neutral instead of stay in 3 clutch in ? thanks !

  • @macbeth930 i just dont understand why ppl say its not good or dont do it. im pretty good with knowledge of mechanical moving parts in a car but ive never known of being able to hurt the clutch while the clutch is pressed in while in gear.

  • @tubefreak90 i don't understand it too man , i'm little bit confuse ahaha

  • @macbeth930 weird shit these ppl be sayin lol

  • @tubefreak90 ahahah :P

  • Comment removed

  • @Kurosaki990Ichigo dude wtf are you talking about never let the car roll in neutral dude its a stick you can do that but since you all high and mighty how about you make us a dvd ok? ok

  • @Kurosaki990Ichigo why "never let car roll in neutral"?

  • You have no door interior haha, rebuild I'm guessing? can't wait til I get mine done

  • damn it sounds nicee!!!!!!

  • @mrdiaz0108

    ** sounded nice.

  • holy SHIT! i would have sex with ur car

  • is it Bi as in the car likes toyotas and hondas?

  • this is amazing...shots of the engine bay?

  • lol silly fwd

  • @TheHevquip Cool sotry bro.

  • DEL SOL SHOULD BE FOR FUN NOT TO SPEED MODIFICATIONS OR ADDING TURBO ETC. THEY ARE LIMITED IN USA. BY THE WAY, ONLY 75.000 OF THEM WHERE IMPORTED FROM 1993-1997.

  • @clase1986 Great story

  • @clase1986

"ONLY" 75,000 it´s very rare, like VW Beetle, or Corollas....

  • @clase1986 well guess what dude way too many people do just that. make them into race cars. they are actually are for speed as you see hondas are more of performance than just made for your average daily driven stock made to drive easy vehicle.

  • the faster you go the more your vain pops out on your left arm

  • hahah "uh oh" camera shuts off.

  • @SomethingDownteam As we were pulling back in to the track road we saw someone who'd been pulled over by the police. :-)

  • what changes did u make to the engine?

    cuz i wanna doit too

  • whats a DSM turbo?

  • @daddy61709 its a turbo off a mitsubishi eclipse

  • @daddy61709 Sorry but I found this humorous. DSM is Diamond Star Motors which included the 2nd gen eclipse. The turbo he is running is from this eclipse. It's a smaller turbo but very quick spool up time and perfect for the setup he is running.

  • no radio????

  • note to self "DONT BUY THIS DEL SOL"

  • sounds sexi :P

  • Is there a key in the ignition?

  • @scrapdelsol umm yes

  • al final del video que le pasa al motor no suena nada bien al final xD

  • Floor it, I wanna hear that beautiful sound

  • Car sounds awesome! Shifting was awesome as well.

  • the guy holding the camara talks like gay

  • Nice seems about as fast as my N/A del sol. Yours sounds nice, but the VTEC crossover is irreplaceable. Take a listen on my 0-60

  • there haved a clutch trouble at the end of video in 4th gear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Listen IT

  • @jobud19

LOL the clutch started slipping like crazy in 4th he must have fried the shit out of it.

  • Thats awesome I have a JRSC K20 in my Del Sol, I only have 2 videos so far but I haven't seen another one yet. I have bad torque steer right now no way I could drive it one handed

  • This could have been interesting to watch if we didn't have to watch just the dashboard(

  • uh oh!

  • This videos quailty is un real sounds sick too

  • Nice car. Beast sound!

  • HOLY SHIT THIS CAR IS NASTY!

  • lol i like the fact people think twin and bi turbo is the same thing haha

  • @Sierrafied lmfao! your so dumb.. they are the same fucking thing idiot! BI MEANS 2!! TWIN means 2!! The only thing that people get confsued is when its a SINGLE turbo.. but is a TWIN ENTRY unit. That makes me mad.

  • @mmdaniels33 what I meant by my comment was agreeing with davidhanlee's comment, i do no the difference between a twin and bi turbo, and if there is no difference between a twin and bi turbo why are there two different names?? think about it

  • @Sierrafied Both mean the same thing.. There is obviously differnt ways the turbos can be setup.. but both mean 2 turbos.

  • Comment removed

  • Turbo duh

  • ANYONE !?...how can i get the whistle sound that you hear everytime he steps on the gas on my del sol? it just sounds beautiful

  • @EveryThingIn1Dadon its the blow off valve.. you need have a turbo to hear that loud PSHH

  • Rename the title "bi" with "twin"

  • Comment removed

  • @HTMLRu1ezD00d

    1. From "They're" to "There"

    2. Essentially the same thing, generally people refer to them as twin

  • @iDavidHanLee Twin = Same size Bi = One small turbo for low RPMs, and a larger one for higher RPMs. Obviously they are not the same thing smart ass.

  • @HTMLRu1ezD00d

Tough guy alert! I need an adult! Someone is beaking me over the internets!

  • The BOV sounds amazing.

  • The whell Like the Logitech G 25

  • kan u say that turbo sounds sickning

  • sounds mean as shit

  • shit sounds clean man

  • I dig it. Sounds fun and easy to live with in daily commuting. I love turbo'ed Hondas, but I love them more when the turbo doesn't cause the wheels to spin like a madman.

  • cwaniak niech wyjedzie na polską droge i niech pokarze co umie na tych dołach. :D

  • how tall are u??

  • Why is there no key in the ignition?

  • @hotairsaloon Oh but there is :p

  • @hotairsaloon their is a key. DUH ! look closer

  • @AndyRoddick969 Oh! I see it now. I should probably actually wear my glasses.

  • whats bi-turbo mean? 2?

  • @stoone113 yes... in the description it says it has a dsm turbo driving a t3 turbo

  • slow acceleration

  • uh oh what?

  • Nice dude :p

  • What's the top speed you hit?

  • spools real loud!!

  • sounds clean man

  • clean

  • What BOV is this? 0:43 sounds sick

  • So your turbo is bisexual?

    Lulz

    Nice car man.

  • wow intresting on the bi turbo set up but wouldnt it be the same as a twin turbo set up if so its been done just motors dont last to long via 2 turbos on a 4 cylinder honda. but good progress on achiving something differnt. im sure its plenty fast if u know cars stockdc2, especially turbo he was feathering the throttle maybe 50% if that.

  • @rickkycardo this is not the same as twin turbo, what you are describing is 2 cylinders power 1 turbo and the other two cylinders power the other turbo. in this video discription he is using all 4 cylinders to power one turbo and that turbo is powering another turbo. and 2 turbos on a 4cylinder wouldnt hurt the engine at all,the problem would be you wouldnt have enough exhaust to spin the turbine. so that wouldnt hurt the motor, it also wouldnt make much power

  • sounds like a cummins lmao. <3 it.

  • car sounds good man

why did you say uh oh at the end of the video cop?? lol

  • this sounds beautiful. turbo spool is making me drool on my keyboard

  • i bought a del sol for 1000 its great

  • great job dude, looks like a fun ride! It would be interesting to see some hp and tq curves. With that kind of spool up, you must be getting a great deal of area under the curve. Awesome concept!

  • sounds like a fly by at the end

  • Mad clear vid

  • siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick

  • did it broke at the end?

  • How much does the standard turbo setup on like a 1994 Honda Accord would cost? Something not so top-end, just kind-of like casual? And would I have to pro-tune it on a dyno?

  • @SpitfireZero

if you buy an aem series 2 computer for it, it can tune itself basically, thats very expensive tho even with factoring in dyno time.

  • That thing sounds sick! I noticed you're not taching it all the way out but I guess that's because it's still in the baby phase and hasn't been properly tuned yet. Sweet ride

  • Did you run a twin turbo on an inline 4? And what kinda mileage does it get?

  • This is so beautiful. A smaller turbo running a bigger one on an inline 4? Is that what's going on?

  • Would this then be possible with a DC2 engine?

  • @Helldorado2008 Don't see why not!

  • bi turbo means two turbos. is there two in there?

  • No idea on numbers. The entire car cost less than $1500, including the price of the car itself. Our friends "street tuned" it at the track, and got the AFRs in a safe range. We took it out for a couple of laps, but the couplers kept blowing off of the charge piping because we just had screw clamps on it instead of T-clamps and most of the charge piping didn't have flared ends. We didn't want to throw a whole bunch of money in to it before figuring out if it'd even work or not. More updates later

  • Sweet, any track videos?

  • Have any numbers? Doesn't look like it's all that fast...
