Autopsy, last night, after I read your post, I pulled up some stuff on the 'net. Seems she agreed to be the opener BUT they were both billed as co-headliners. After one show, Luther asked the crowd to thank "my opening act, Ms. Anita Baker." That apparently infuritated her and her management because if promoters thought she was an opening act it would drive her price way down. Years later, she and LV tried to bury the hatchet and he invited her to record a song with him but she never showed!
