Why she was crying?

Cause she was lip syncing. U can tell, cause when she falls, the song messes up. She forgot the words, cause she was distracted, so when she fell, the audio screwed up. Not the movie's fault, they did it on perpouse.

no i think its cause most of her life she was probably rejected from her parents wanting attention so its something psychological that now she wants attention from others thats why she acts like a prideful brat, then when she finally sees her mom in final jam she tries to do her best for acceptance of her mom, but when she sees that her mom would rather take a phone call than watch her daughter, so she got hurt on the inside and distracted thus messing up realizing stuff
