All i can think about is ferris bueller singing that on the parade float. Great movie about being young and having fun. Not many movies in the past 15 years can be as innocent teen movies.
I'm at he age of 53 and very honoured to have grown up listening to the early 60's quality music until the 80's when electronic equipment started to substitute musical instruments. The world ruined!
I'm sorry for those who never experienced and enjoyed the sensation of radio stations launching real music like that of Bert Kaempfert or Ray Connif, Shirley Bassey, Mirelle Mathieu, Maysa Matarazzo, Anita Kerr and many others.
Congratulations to those like me who's had a good musical background.
Oh come on... I'm not going to waste much of my time to this adolescent reply of yours. Maybe when you grow up you'll understand my happiness to listening to the fantastic music produced in the 50's and 60's and played by orchestras like Bert Kampfaert, Ray Conniff, James Last, Frank Pourcell etc...
@JulesRimet1 Oh come on, maybe when you wisen up you will realize that there is no one good style of music. I already love orchestral pieces; I also happen to love the deemed poor electronic music.
I am not saying that the music you state is bad, I am merely saying do not be so ignorant as to call every other piece newer and more electronic bad. When I listen to many types of new rock, metal or rap, even, I can pick out the classic roots; it has not gone.
@MarcusjlJ I mean to say, I am not disagreeing nor misunderstanding your appreciation for music made in the fifties and sixties; I am disagreeing that the 'new' music is bad, corrupt or 'too' electronic. Personally, I enjoy Yo-Yo Ma the same as Ludwig Von Beethoven the same as Nickelback the same as Disturbed. My only argument is that it is ignorant to refuse change. New music is great, so is older music. It all is fine, unless it is absolutely talentless (auto-tune), I'd think it is good.
Einfach Dankeschon !

@JulesRimet1 I hardly think praising ignorance is a good idea.
One saying that old music is best is the same as saying old clothes are best.
It is hardly a truth, just an opinion that should be kept in the group of like-minded thinkers.
Either all music is real, or none is.
Any other argument is out of ignorance and should hardly be respected.

I'm sorry if this seems a rude comment

This is my favorite version of Danke Schon. I remember hearing this version as a teenager growing up in the 1980's.
