  • Guys and Girls, allways remove the battery before changing hardware in a laptop. She didnt do it in this video, but you should, just to be safe.

  • Where can i buy this notebook graphics card...??

  • @asifrocker2012 nividia.com or amd.com

  • what the hell just happened?

  • Did he just put that graphics card in there without reapplying new thermal compound?

    Rage.

  • nice commentary

  • Final result...you can`t upgrade

  • LOL, Core 2 Extreme? Mine's i3... shitty cpu...

  • @UltimateWindows1 Probably because this video was uploaded 3 years ago, when Core 2 Extreme was the fastest CPU you could get, so stfu with your boasting you arrogant cunt.

  • @Th3MrWelsh Lol, buddy, I meant the i3 was a shitty CPU.

  • @iXeronall what do you mean where is the graphics??

  • damn you have 8GB ram

  • @hamoudeish 8GB DDR3 ram for laptops is under $50, nothing special. I've seen it go down to around $30.

  • @nambinhvu the performance of 8gb ram is good on gaming performance

  • your laptop if faster and 100 times better then mine

  • Your camera is making too much noise in the bg.

  • i'm not that good when it comes to graphics cards/ laptop specs, but i wanted to upgrade my laptops graphics card and i just wanted help from anyone out there that knows what there doing. Also would my laptop's graphics run better if i attatched it to my 24" tv/monitor via hdmi?? SPECS: Lenovo ideaPad Z570, 8192mb ram, Nvidia geforce gt 520m graphics card (not the stock one, but is still is inside if you know what i mean???)

  • @centerfreestyler hdmi merely stands for High Definition Media Interface. it doesn't mean that it'll run better, it just means that you will be able to run 1080p video with digital sound. in other words, that is your best option for an external display at stellar quality.

  • @SlackintoshHD thanks

  • @centerfreestyler i forgot to ask what kind of a processor you have. but in a Z series I am sure you have at least an i3. I believe the 570s come stock with i5's as the 540 i think is the model that has the i3 (consumers.)... i've ran 32 bit ARM processors on a big flat screen in 720 just fine in HDMI. your computer will pump out those graphics beautifully especially on a Lenovo.

  • weird

  • Well , i didn't saw mutch cause the quality of this video is bad, and you shacked the camera all the time, the zoom was annoying 2 , and also that annoying sound wasn't realy nice ;-(

  • I have a GT 120 M would this GC fit in my laptop?

  • I love how back then That was the shit

  • WOW YOU GUYS WENT CRAZY ABOUT THE THERMAL PASTE ( LV 10) LOL IT MUST BE REALLY REALLY BE IMPORTANT.

  • 2009 and only windows xp? dang...

  • like button and dislike button together look like a light saber

  • its hard to do this when we dont even know WHAT THE FUCK YOUR SAYING TALK NEXT TIME

  • @leomitz why the f would u upgrade an alienware graphics card?

  • wtf where did you get new graphics card to laptop???

  • where i should buy that card

  • you can give me the old graphic card,,, still better than intel chipset,, or maybe cheapset

  • @nick6995 agree.....

  • @nick6995 You dont want it, that GPU is a broken chip, overheats like mad.

Seen HP Laptops straight from the store Idle 80C.

  • What an idiot! Your supposed to wipe off the old goop and put fresh on or the heat won't transfer. Here I almost gave you a thumbs up for taking vista off your machine. Bet that laptop lasted all of 10 seconds when you turned it on... What a dumb ass!!

  • @lschlutt73 eh, it's thermal goop. It will still transfer heat. Might not be as perfect as a new coat, but it's not likely to be a complete disaster.

  • I'm no expert, but I know the basics... everytime when you remove graphics card from the laptop, it is highly recommended that you wipe off the original thermal paste and APPLY a new one before putting a old/new graphics card back into the laptop. otherwise, the card may not have a good contact with the heat sink, and the temperature may skyrocket which can potentially damage the card. APPLY THE PASTE MAN

  • gotta love it when its easy as remove plug replace and play

  • @AntDX316 GO ASUS!

  • i did and upgrade from a 9800m gs to a gtx 260m.. i got my 9800m gs up for sale @ 120 dlls. if anyone is interested its in good working order and NEVER overcloked it. its from an asus g50 also posted videos

  • nice screwdriver

  • i know it is funny ... but im serious ... was there any graphic card that is free ?

  • @FITHRI1000 no...

  • I want to unpgrade my acer 5520 from 8400m G... can you suggest a good card? (I don't care about battery life and price).

  • @coccoborg Lol, of course you care about battery life. If it only lasts one second when you get a GTX 480M, well, there's no point. XD

  • i have a aspire 7741z and some other similar model uses a Discrete ATI Mobility Radeon™ 5650 so I wanted to know if it was possible to make it happen..what do you think? I have the model that had a Integrated Intel® HD Graphics... rrrg

  • Fail at taking care with installation and putting in a new product.

This is most definitely NOT how you want to handle a laptop.

    2. Position the dumb camera somewehre so you arent such a mess...

  • i wanna upgrade my M17X....but can't find any graphics card for sale....why is it so hard???.......GOD DAmit

  • can you upgrade the video card on an asus u81a-rx05

  • u forgot the new thermal paste dumbass

  • Maan WTF clean the old termal paste and apply new one for gods sake

  • @ladev1988 woow, easy, thermal paste is expensive.....!!

  • WOW 8400 m to 9650m got? talk about quantum leap....

  • @kkjgg112391 that is not an excuse to put the part on top of the old paste... once you put something on thermal paste and it bonds the next time you unbond them you have to put brand new paste or it will not make a good thermal connection

  • Brasil? :D

  • is a way to make this on a asus f3sc???i have a good pc but this gpu its orrible for new games...and i not will change for now my pc...please help man

  • interessting.
